It looks like a pretty interesting venture to catch
the children young and teach them the basics of
GNU/Linux.

Over here in goa, there is a similar porject going on,
called the GOa School Computers Project. www.gscp.org.
At GSCP, Arvind Yadav and the Goa Linux users group,
ilug-goa@yahoogroups.com have been trying to replace
the propreitory software on the school machines to
GNU/Linux completely.

Hope u found that useful.

I havent gone through the study material as of yet..
