Re: Welcome to Members

Thanks for inviting me to join this group.

I am a member of an organization called the Knowledge Initiative
Trust (KIT) that manages the Goa Schools Computers Project
www.gscp.org. There are about 20 schools running LTSP in Goa for 2
years now, and a a couple of dozen schools with a couple of PC's
running stand-alone Linux (We're not sure at this stage how many of
the second category are still running Linux). All the PC's are
recycled PC's.

It would be wonderful to learn from others who are beyond the pilot
stage on issues like sustainability, integration with subject
curriculum, etc.

Anyone on this list from Kerala. I know that there are about a dozen
schools there running LTSP as well.

Best wishes,

Daryl
