Dear Herald
Any change is difficult. We should be feel good that
at least 3 schools are using Linux. At IIM, Ahmedabad
we also have been trying to promote FOSS in many
schools. Would you believe that more than 150
principals of top schools of the country have been
given presentations and CDs, but not much
breakthroughs. I believe we should keep trying and at
one point it is going to take off. Then nothing can
stop it. We also must understand why schools are not
going for FOSS inspite of so much advantages and try
to work upon them.
All the best. Laxman
