Ya i too got the same mail, but you all could easily find its a fake id, when Yahoo! asks for privacy details they use only the official id's ie) abc@... but this id is just registered as like normal users on Yahoo! site, its better to take right action on the person who is doing this...

Rajesh; the product is mainly handled by US team and in rest of the regions we do little bit of localization and mainly maintain cater to the local customer via customized services as per the region.

 

We have collated all the feedback that we have recieved not only from Moderator Union but also from other events and sent it to US (thats precisely why Matt was here to have a feel of Indian Moderators). US team gather feedback not only from india but other regions as well and whatever is possible they implement in the product.

 

Thats how you see the constant progress in the product.

Dear Friends,

A brief introduction of DiversityIndia suite of Yahoo groups.

About seven years back, a bunch of people interested in Butterflies
(Lepidioptera) of Indian Region came together and initiated a Yahoo
group called ButterlyIndia. Slowly the group grew and we started to have
serious subject discussions and meets which are combinations of seminars
and field trips. The group also initiates several other yahoo groups to
study Moths, Spiders, Dragonflies, Reptiles, Wildflowers etc. We have a
list of these groups @ http://DiversityIndia.org/

The groups also have initiated few blogs, flickr photo pools etc.

it will be really nice if yahoo could create a status of VIP we could add for some members we choose

 

and if we choose this status in their options their mails will go in a separate folder (like spam folder, but will be called VIP folder) and not with the mass of the other members mails

so we can find them more easily

Rajesh; the product is mainly handled by US team and in rest of the regions we do little bit of localization and mainly maintain cater to the local customer via customized services as per the region.

 

We have collated all the feedback that we have recieved not only from Moderator Union but also from other events and sent it to US (thats precisely why Matt was here to have a feel of Indian Moderators). US team gather feedback not only from india but other regions as well and whatever is possible they implement in the product.

 

Thats how you see the constant progress in the product.

Dear Vigesh/Shefali

 

This message appears when Yahoo has server problem in that region locally, but in the other regions you can access normally. For example, if I am located in north Mumbai and i am experiencing this problem, but when I check up with my moderators in Banglore, Delhi, France, USA etc. they report, that they are able to access the messages properly and the vice versa is equally true. Hence after such observations, I reached to the conclusion that these are local server problems that are connected with Yahoo and not the server problems for the entire Yahoo network.

Some solution is to be sought for this. Although, while moderating,
by handling the html codes we are able to curtail this problem but
