This refers to an interesting
letter in THE column
entitled,"CONVERSATIONS WITH
READERS" IN YOUR ESTEEMED
DAILY, and the letter addressed
with the above
referred title i.e."Nehru's
Legacy", and written by
none else than the very
knoledgable orator and a
handsome and dignified gentleman
in the long era of
Congress Politics (particularly
the Congress-I). the
former union Minister, handling
a number of very
important Union Portfolios, but
almost "down" at the
moment on account of his
ill-health!, but as this
letter proves, HE STILL REFUSES
TO BE "OUT" of the
Political scenario as far as his
mental and physical
health permits! No more a
"blue-eyed boy" as he used
to be once upon a time of the
late Mrs Indira Gandhi,
but certainly continues to be a
keen observer of what
everything happens to the
Congress-I or to the
NEHRU-GANDHI LEGACY OR DYANASTIC
ambitions and
survival of the same as long as
possible!

The undersigned, as is very well
known to him till
this date, has also been a keen
observer of everything
that happens to or in the Indian
Politics, and to
reply or further analyse or view
realistically for the
"masses of India, all over the
country", may I mention
the following important points,
to which I own full
responsibility on the basis of
my closest observation,
particularly about the Congress
politics, vis-a-vis
the Dyanastic ambition of
Nehru-Gandhi family,
originating as a brain-child of
Late Shri Motilal
Nehru, by beginning to motivate
his Barrrister son in
to a freedom fighting era and
thereafter the ultimate
choice of our late Father of the
Nation, Mahatma
Gandhi, to ensure to become the
first ever Prime
Minister of India, even at the
cost of a fateful
PARTITION OF THE NATION AT SUCH
A DISASTOROUS COST &
CONSEQUENCES, TILL DATE! i.e.for
nearly 55 Years!
!
1.India after
Independene(Aug-1947), unfortunately, is
being ruled till date by
"Democratic Constituition"
and a Democratic process of
general elections, but by
all means , from 1947to 1990, or
in the Opposition,
till date, by a "Dyanstic Rule"!

2.I do not wish to defy Mr.Sathe
regarding, the
individual merits of Mr.Nehru or
Mrs, Gandhi, but
there should not be the
slightest doubt in the minds
of anyIndian citizen or voter
today, that no sooner
Mr. Nehru, Mrs.Indira Gandhi, or
Mr. Rajeev Gandhi,
assumed the office AS the PM of
India, their first and
foremost objective "AT ALL
COSTS", has been to
establish their offspring or
posterity OR EVEN THEIR
SPOUSE as the next PM! This has
happened without any
doubt whatsoever and even after
losing her husband at
such an young age, today, after
more than 12 yeaars,
just as his widow,, Mrs. Sonia
Ganshi, still
struggling day in and day out to
keep her control on
the Party, till such date MRS
Priyanka Vadera Gandhi,
enters through "AMethi"! Only
because by this time, It
should have become absolutely
obvious to Mrs. Sonia
Gandhi, that her first and last
chance eluded her to
becOME PM withot fighting any
election, when Mr,
Vajpayee retained his seat by
winning the last "Vote
of Confidence" on the floor of
the House by just "One"
vote and that , in my vieW has
been the end of
Nehru-Gandhi Dynastic ambition
which could continue to
rule India that way for all time
to come!

Ihave ,both "Intuition" and an
innermost "feeling"that
the newly created "Third Front"
of Secular forces,
very recently in New Delhi,
could have the
posisibilities of coming closest
to majority in the
next Lok Sabha Elections,
whether on schedule or
earlier and Hon.Shri Sharad
Pawar,M.P. may not now be
ruled out to be getting "HIS
DAY" of assuming the
highest Post in the country!I
have been reading his
views and addresses for quite
some time during last
few months and he appears to me
today to be the one
and only one (out of Power) to
be talking things
sensible enough and worthwhile
for the future
generations of the masses of
this country!And to add
to this his past experience as
the Chief Minister of
Maharastra for quite a long
time!

This therefore is the end of
Dynstic rule by all means
and it would be worthwhile for
most of the Congress-I
Partymen (minus Sonia Gandhi),
to work out with all
grace, inderstanding and
courage,some innovative
strategy to join hands with
Mr.Pawar & Mr.Sangma's
NCP,in order to make it a
full-proof secular
opposition to vote the
"fundametalist" BJP out of
power in the very next Lok Sabha
elections, on
schedule OR any day before that!

I am sure that the "freedom of
speech" which any
Democractic Govt, ensures to an
Individual and
otherwise also Mr.Vasant Sathe's
knowing the
undersigned for more than two
decades, would make him
read this letter(If published)
in good grace & spirit,
from one of his closest friends!
