Vasant Chavan was a loyal and dedicated human being in addition to
being a committed leader he was also a very disciplined worker.
He worked as in many different capacities as MLA / MLC /Minister and MP.
A Couple of years back his name was finalized for Rajya Sabha and
there after he was told to withdraw from the same and in a secoond, he
withdrew without complaining or criticizing the party and continued to
extend his help to the party.
He performed as:
1. National Spoke person and media friendly Spoke person
2. Election campaign
3. Election officer of internal election of the party
In my opinion he was an ideal official worker, and had the organizing
capacity, without any ego problems any time in his life; party workers
from all levels loved him.
He was a man of values and virtues and we should learn his simplicity,
tenacity, his honesty, and integrity.
Party has suffered a great loss due to his demise and a vacuum has
been created in party which will not be filled.
The party workers will not forget him for long time.
