Subject: [Nationalist Congress Party] Why Sharad Pawar will make the best PM in
2009

All of the Indian people know and accept that the 2009 elections will have to
end in the formation of a coalition government. Political parties will have to
negotiate the formation of a stable government so that whichever `partnership'
takes power, there is stability to the nation and a clear focus towards future
strategies to assure economic stability, communal harmony and security to the
nation as well as the citizens.
The best person to lead such a government is only Sharad Pawar! Why, you may
ask? The reasons are:
1) Pawar has a proven reputation as an Administrator. Ask any person staying in
Maharashtra and there will not be a single common-man who does not respect Pawar
for his skills and talents for administration.
2) Pawar knows how to utilize resources correctly and properly. His planning had
effectively changed Maharashtra from an impoverished state to the second richest
state of India.
3) Pawar is a known "Peacemaker" . His personal friendships with leaders over
the entire spectrum of political ideologies, is legendary. What India needs at
this juncture is a nation builder who inspires hope & confidence, across all
sections of society; regardless of caste, creed or religion.
4) Pawar has the impeccable reputation for generating wealth.. In his two terms
as Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the State treasury was always in surplus.
Under his leadership, BCCI has shown massive profits never before imagined.
5) Pawar is rare Indian politician with no hint of any scandal over the last 40
plus years that he has been in politics.
Let us not be mistaken. Pawar is a gifted leader of people. He can and will
bring stability, peace & security to our nation of India. It is thus in the
interests of the Nation that we must do all that is in our power to ensure that
Sharad Pawar does become the next Prime Minister of India.

I am Salman.

If you are a Hindu, tell me Please, Will you look upon me as an Indian or as a
Muslim? (Pleads a Muslim)
---
Varun Gandhi's alleged "anti-Muslim" speeches have terrified Indian & Pakistani
Muslims likewise. “We Are All Set To Be Chopped Off” – A Muslim declares.

In the hate speech, Varun had compared Muslims to Osama Bin Laden and demanded
‘slitting of throats and cutting of hands’ of Muslims for unusual reasons!

Raza Rumi, the editor of the popular e-zine PakTeaHouse, said Pakistan could
well be Gandhi's next target if he was elected in India's upcoming parliamentary
polls.

"Varun Gandhi's remarks on Muslims...Concerns us as it only exposes us to
brigades of hatred, communalism and violence across the border. If our jihadis
or Islamists get inordinate attention, then why should a bigoted idiot like the
young Gandhi not worry us?" Rumi wrote in a post.

"Imagine if by a stroke of misfortune he comes to power, surely we are all set
to be chopped off as we - the Muslims - have 'scary' names; and that Pakistan
would be the next target once Narendra Modi-esque pogroms are completed against
Indian Muslims," Rumi added.…. This is quite scary, is it not?

He wrote: "We in Pakistan are constantly being demonized by the Indian
mainstream media as a 'terrorist' country and that we are a great threat to the
'secular', shining India. The fissures in the secular Indian democracy get even
more evident when such speeches are delivered."

Gandhi, who is contesting Lok Sabha election from his mother Maneka Gandhi's
pocket borough of Pilibhit in western Uttar Pradesh, has been targeting the
Muslim community in his recent speeches.

Dear Indian, tell me please…

Will Muslims be safe in India if BJP comes to power?
What will become of the long controversial Indo-Pak relationship?

Dear Sir,

This is to bring in your notice about the inconvenience and nuisance faced by
the people who travels from malad station to mind space(Chincholi Bunder) and
Interface. I would like to inform you that the distance between Malad station
and Mindspace is more than 1.5 kms and Interface is more than 2 kms. There are
plenty of buses running from Malad station to Malwani, Evershine Nagar,Jankalyan
Nagar,Ushma etc.But there is not a single bus provided to Mindspace /
Interface. Also ther are two buses from Goregaon station to Mind Space and
Interface But not from Malad Even after Mind space falls as a part of Malad
itself.
The people working in the above said area are in lakh quantity.
1) Employees who are working in BPOs Call Centre and others on rich post
have their own vehicles and also they can afford a auto rickshaw from Malad
station to Mindspace / Interface and from Mindspace / Interface to Malad station
which cost them around Rs.20 to 30 daily.
2) But a low position worker like Housekeeping person ,Sweeper,Office
boys,Courier Boys etc who earns hardly 3000 to 3500 per month cannot afford this
at all.
3) Also it is very difficult to walk daily for 40 to 45 minutes especially
in this hot and also in rainy season
So I would like to request you to start a bus on route of Malad station to Mind
Space / Interface as early as possible.
And please Revert.

Thanks and Regards

Dear Friend,

					 Hi

The time is nearing about 1 billion of us to remove our fingers from our
lips, ears and from over our eyes and hold it out. Hold it out to vote. But why
should we only speak, albeit through our action, only for a day. What do we
intend to do for the remaining 4 years and 364 days?

Logging on to http://www.engagevoter.com could be one of the idea. Yes,
it's a website.

Yes, it is a platform for you to voice your opinions. Yes, it will deal
with real issues. Yes, it will discuss politics and politicians.

But no, it will not be another website. It aims to be a movement. A voice
and a democracy. A voice that will resonate loud and clear. In the corridors of
power. In the ears of the policymakers and decision takers. More importantly in
the ears of every Indian.

We're trying to achieve all this and much more with one deadly and
effective weapon-public opinion.

Don't take our word for it. log into http://www.engagevoter.com and you
decide.

I was Not Allowed
to Vote!
)
“I have all proofs to show that I’m an Indian and also to confirm that
I’ve been a resident here for long”, says a Hyderabadi, “but wasn’t
allowed to vote”

“Not my family alone, the whole of our building inmates were denied”, adds
another.

Lets here this surprising one, “I have a Voter Id Card even then I wasn’t
allowed to vote as my name was not found in the Voters list. I have been to 3
polling booths already and none has my name in it, not even the one where I had
voted last time. I’m retired now and was in government service all my age,
then how should I keep calm at not being allowed to vote? This is pathetic state
of Indian government. Can someone take up strongly against this denial of my
fundamental right?”

How awful is this now!
May I call it – Flaws in the first phase of General Elections 2009?

Adding to the negatives of Indian way of management, here’s an another
interesting and the most latest news.

With the new government in making, all Indians (please include me) were geared
up for their chance to vote and try bringing to fore their favorite or most
admired politicians. Voting phases were announced and days fixed; facilitating
the voters to vote (and not to disappoint them over not receiving their Voter
Id’s in time), a “13 proof system” was brought up, obviously a very great
attempt to encourage voting from all Indians, I presume.

However, forth came the same old face of authentic Indian faulty management with
voters being denied to vote on the voter day as their name was not listed in the
Voter’s list in the first phase of general elections in Hyderabad! How
surprising is that!

Other views, “I’ve been waiting for long, very excitedly, as it may sound
natural, to cast my vote for the very first time. However, this dream may still
take time to come true, because I live in India, where all plans take good time
to be implemented successfully!”.

Well, to conclude, I’m not sure as when was it last that these voting
officials had updated their voter lists. Also, I may point that, people living
in a certain city are not to be supposed to be belonging to it. Let’s, for
instance, consider Hyderabad. Hi-Tech city has the highest number of working
population and most of them do not belong here - they’ve come here from all
parts of India.

Now how can you suppose them to be listed in the Voter list of this area?

And I bet, if this is the case with Hyderabad in the 1st phase of election, its
gonna be the same in all the phases with all states included.

Any comments please……………… I’m
all ears!

Hi-Tech city has the highest number of working population and most of them do
not belong here - they’ve come here from all parts of India .

Now how can you suppose them to be listed in the
Voter list of this area?

And I bet, if this is the case with Hyderabad in the 1st phase
of election, its gonna be the same in all the phases with all states included.

Any comments please……………… I’m all ears!

Am I asking too much? [Issues In India]

An Indian citizen pleads, "I think water is one of the most essential
necessities of every human being. When I ask for a solution to the drinking
water problem, am I asking for too much?"

Thought to discuss something with you guys today… Let’s consider India as
our home and count the issues that plague our beloved home and its inmates. With
elections to the 15th LokSabha just days away, I wish to call all Indians
across the country to find out what's on their mind. Let’s take our chance and
figure out the one (or many) issues which need immediate attention.

'No politician has addressed our issue' – is the complaint often heard,
isn’t it?

It is unfortunate to see that politicians continue to fight within themselves
rather than address the issue of the nation which demands their immediate
attention. All I expect from our politicians is to take some time off from their
personal agendas and address the real problems, doing some justice their
dignified ranks.

Political rallies and promises during the election season do not have much
meaning unless the real issue is addressed. Almost all politicians promise a lot
of things at the time of the elections but once they are elected, they forget
everything. None of them keep their promises. Let alone keeping their promises,
they don't even visit the areas.

Coming to our point of counting the issues in India, this is what comes to my
mind:

There are many underdeveloped districts, towns & villages spread all over the
country wherein the living conditions are pathetic – These demand attention.
Poverty, communalism, illiteracy and backwardness are the issues that have
existed for long and yet desire not to depart from India. Lately terrorism has
come into view as the most horrifying challenge! Other issues that will be
talked about will be unemployment, recession, power shortage, price rise, etc.

Not to forget, the birth mark of Indian Independence - The Jammu & Kashmir
problem. (God knows better when this is going to be settled) I have no clue.. If
you have some solution in mind, let me know.

There is  Sikh-uprising in Punjab, the Naxal problem, Slow Economic Development
and Social Unrest, Religious and Ethnic Factors, The democratic deficit and lack
of legitimacy, economic issues which includes competition over water between
states, and also some feel that the friendships and acquaintances with other
countries also counts itself as an issue unaddressed. .

Not to be left behind are issues of Child Labor, Frequent Riots and Caste
systems which exist majorly in India only.

Did I miss out on any important issue?

Well, If I ask you.................. Why are you voting....? What would you
answer?

Are you voting just for the sake of voting?

Can any answer justify my question completely?

Tell me Indians,
Don't you think?

There should be a
proper medium and a proper academic certification to enter into politics like we
have for other fields?

If not done until
today…

Do you think we need to keep such a thing in place
at least now?

I think yes, we must!

Let me know your
thoughts on this @ http://www.engagevoter.com/vote-topic-details.php?i=NzA=

I'll be waiting to you your thoughts!

Thanks,

Sonia Singhania

Introducing, a simple & effective technology to approach your voters in the most
direct way, through their mobile. Our technology works as follows:
1) The party leader or candidate records a 30 45 seconds message on our
service platform.
2) Simultaneous calls are then generated though our platform to mobile phone
owners (across all mobile phone services) announcing that the party leader/
candidate has a personal message for the call receiver.
3) If the mobile phone subscriber (owner) disconnects the call; automatically a
text message is generated by our service platform that a voice message awaits
them from a specific party leader/ candidate and that they can listen to this
message anytime.
4) When the mobile phone owner calls the Candidate's number; he/ she can listen
to the message of the party leader/ candidate; in any one of the three language
choices.(Local, Hindi, English).
5) NOW COMES THE INTERESTING PART: The mobile phone subscriber (owner) can leave
his/ her reaction to the message from the party leader either by pressing a
pre-specified key(s) for `Yes' or' No'; and more than that; the mobile
subscriber can also leave a 30 seconds voice message for the party leader/
candidate.
6) This voice message from the mobile owner is recorded on our service platform
& all recorded voice messages from the mobile owners are copied onto a CD and
handed to the party leader/ candidate for their study and further action.
Important points to note:
- The message is sent to mobile owner across all mobile networks.
- The text message is sent either in English or Devnagri. English is a preferred
language since all mobiles are not programmed to receive Devnagri fonts.
- Party Leader can specify the mobile network circle or entire state where he
wants the message to be broadcast to all potential voters.
- Message can also be broadcast within specific constituency; however this will
cost extra due to added resources needed to pin-point mobile owners in a
specific constituency.
ADVANTAGES:
- Easy, direct and personal connection with every voter.
- Party / candidates agenda is not lost in the crowd of messages from various
parties.
- Value for money spent. (No other media gives closer and individual access to
every voter).
- The system is already tested and proven to be successful in India & USA.
- The project can be implemented within 24 hours of the contract award from
Party / Candidate.
- Party/ Candidate can modify their message as required, based on voter
feed-back on issues.

PRICING SHEET:
Part 1) Outbound Voice call & text (SMS) message:

02 lacs to 20 lacs calls (phone and SMS, each): Rs 3.00 each.
20 lac to 50 lac calls (phone and SMS, each): Rs 2.80 each.
50 lac to 100 lac calls (phone and SMS, each): Rs 2.70 each.
Above 100 lac calls (phone and SMS, each): Rs 2.60 each.

Part 2) Voice message listen feature

Complete setup with servers, software, telecom connectivity, 24X7 supervision,
customer service and Party Leader/ candidate's voice recording, IVR, related
technology:
Rs: 15,00,000 (RS. Fifteen Lacs); for entire state campaign.
This cost is based on Outbound broadcast of 03 crore voice SMS out-bound and a
expected feed-back of maximum 5% (15 lakh responses)via SMS & voice mail from
the voters to the Party Leader/ Candidate.

CALL STRUCTURING:

- For a fully effective campaign over a (1) month period; there should be SMS
"broadcasts" at least 2 times a week to minimum 5 10 lac mobile owners
(Voters) per broadcast.
- Total broadcasts from March 30 till Election day(s) should be 8 10 over the
complete election campaign schedule.
- All Voice message listen feature calls that the Voters make will be recorded
and the report will be submitted to Party / Candidate on CD.

THIS TECHNOLOGY HAS BEEN USED MOST SUCCESSFULLY BY BARACK OBAMA!

The Technology Platform uses world leading patented and patent pending
solutions. Some of these solutions are deployed worldwide, and used by millions
of mobile subscribers, while some are newly launched in India; by Solutions 123
Group.
