Recently released figures of the Birth rate are very surprising. Though
government has passed laws to increase female children by not allowing the sex
scanning of foetus and avoid female foetus abortions. The birth rate has
remained the same.
Also both Rural (5.11% less Female births) and Town (4.32% less Female births)
has similar trends as well. So people of Town and Villages are getting same
facility to know the foetus sex and illegal abortions.
But town has some understanding and awareness of the equality issue.


Overall TOTAL IN KUTCH (4.68% less Female births) every year will lead to
reduce female population and resulting disproportional ratio. At the end of
century may be less than half population of females to compare to males
population!!
