Subject: Secrets of the SHANKHs of Indo Saraswati river basin CIVILISATIONs

Dear editorials, Dear Friends of Archeology, science, History and documentation,
Nature and Cultural Science,

Generally we are not aware of much of archaeological facts. we generally think
that in old times ornaments were made from ivory from elephants tusks. But thats
we think because we seen those ornaments and trade of elephant ivory. In reality
in Indo-Saraswati civilisation time it was not true else it would have destroyed
all that wild life.

But ornaments and even weapons like toys, cutting instruments, knife arrow etc
were made from Sea shells called "SHANKHs" Ornaments of the Indus river lady
having rings in her arms are made from such "SHANKHs - sea shells.

Very few pictures have been released of such SHANKHs but we have plenty of Whole
SHANKS and cut shells from many locations of Indo Saraswati civilisation areas
like GADHWARI WADI of MEGHPAR near BHUJ, BHADLI KOTADA GADH of KOTADA near
NAKHATRANA, KHEDOI GADH area as well as other famous Indo-SARASWATI
civilisations.

But surprisingly we realised to see all samples of collections of museum of our
KUTCH SCIENCE FOUNDATION Archaeological section that those shells - SHANKHs are
actually are RARE variety of SHANKHs only. Generally such variety is 1 in
thousand called as Real Shankh - Right Sided SHANHs only.

We observed all samples we have and also cut shells to make ornaments, bangles,
we see them all those are only RIGHT SIDED. so I also checked the sample I
donated to the museum collection of the Department of ARCHEOLOGY at BHUJ and
found the same.(Letter and pictures are attached)

Surprisingly how those RIGHT HAND SIDED SHANKs were available in such a large
quantity to those people of INDO-SARASWATI. When, today this ratio is very much
impossible. Would those time ratio been different? or Some locations eg. KUTCH
Indo-SARASWATI civilisation are have greater proportion of those ratio?
Even I checked a sample of similar variety of Fossilised such SHANKH from
ABADASA - KUTCH which is about 70 Million years old - is found to be RIGHT sided
SHANKH!!!!

May be traditionally those civilisation people used only Right sided SHANKS for
not only for the purpose we think but for all purpose they used only Right sided
TRUE SHANKHs ONLY.
