Dear Docs and friends of medical science,

Virus clue to cervical cancer jab @
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4491990.stm

Scientists have unravelled the body's immune response to a virus which causes
most cases of cervical cancer. They hope their work on the human papilloma
virus (HPV) could aid efforts to develop a cervical cancer vaccine.
The research shows patients able to rid HPV from their system have a different
immune response to those who cannot combat it and go on to develop cancer. The
study, by the University of Birmingham, was published in the British Journal of
Cancer. Cervical cancer is the second most common female cancer worldwide, with
an estimated 500,000 new cases diagnosed each year. In 2002 the disease caused
1,120 deaths in the UK alone. Vaccines are likely to play an important role in
helping us control certain cancers in the future

The Birmingham study, funded by Cancer Research UK, focused on 41 women, some
who had HPV infection, and others with cervical cancer. The researchers measured
the response of immune system cells to proteins from the most common type of
HPV.

Researcher Dr Jane Steele said: "We found that the patients with pre-cancerous
lesions most likely to progress to cervical cancer showed less immune activity
from a population of immune cells called helper T cells than the women who were
at much less risk. "This could mean that helper T cells, which are known to play
a central role in the immune response, are critical in disease progression.
"Vaccines aimed to re-activate helper T cell responses to the relevant proteins
should be considered."

Professor John Toy, medical director of Cancer Research UK, said: "Vaccines are
likely to play an important role in helping us control certain cancers in the
future and scientists are hopeful that vaccines against HPV might be able to
prevent cervical cancer altogether.

"This research opens up new avenues of investigation for the development of
possibly better vaccines." There are more than 70 different types of HPV, of
which only some are linked to an increased risk of cervical cancer. The current
study focused on HPV 16, which is present in up to 70% of cervical cancers.

is MadKotada (Harappan Brick foundation) visiting the site we found the ancient
brick foundation which is not today's tradition. such a square bricks were used
in harappan time. so we decided to have a close look and we found the
surprising results.

Subject: Mitochondrial DNA diversity among five tribal populations of southern

RESEARCH COMMUNICATIONS

cenozoic coralline algal assemblage from southwestern Kutch and its importance
in palaeoenvironment and palaeobathymetry
Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, 53 University Road, Lucknow 226 007,
India

Little contribution has been made on the study of coralline algae from the
Cenozoic sediments of southwestern Kutch. Some of the limestone units belonging
to Oligocene and Miocene sediments of southwestern Kutch were known to be
potential sources for the recovery of coralline algae. There are some reports on
the occurrence of coralline red algae from the early Oligocene, late Oligocene
and early Lower Miocene rocks of southwestern Kutch. Taxonomic revision of
majority of these taxa has to be made following the diagnostic characters used
in present-day taxonomy. Presently, the extinct coralline algae are being
studied based on new anatomical characters applicable to extant coralline algae.
The present study has been carried out following current methodology of
taxonomic consideration on freshly collected samples from the late Oligocene
(Chattian) limestone belonging to Bermoti Member of Maniyara Fort Formation. The
assemblage is dominated by the genera Lithophyllum and Mesophyllum. Both these
taxa have been analysed with the concept of open nomenclature. Attempts have
been made to interpret the palaeoenvironment and palaeobathymetry based on the
analysis of recovered algal assemblage. The distribution pattern of coralline
red algae recorded so far from the Cenozoic sediments of southwestern Kutch has
been summarized.

DNA samples from 160 unrelated individuals belonging to five Dravidian tribal
populations of southern India were analysed for ten mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA)
restriction site polymorphisms (RSPs) and

one insertion/deletion polymorphism. There is extensive sharing of mtDNA
haplotypes among all the

tribal populations studied, indicating that there was a small female founding
population in India. The 9-bp

deletion analysed was observed only in the Kadar population with a low
frequency. The Asian-specific haplogroup M is found at a higher frequency in all
the populations, thus supporting the hypothesis that this haplogroup arose in
India and was carried to Africa from India. Haplogroup U is also found in all
the populations and it is consistent with the theory that Dravidian-speaking
populations were more widespread in India and that the Aryan-speakers pushed
them to their present habitat.

CONTEMPORARY ethnic populations of India manifest a great deal of biological and
cultural variability1. Based on cultural patterns, the tribal populations of
India are clearly distinguished from the non-tribal groups, such as the
populations belonging to the Hindu caste fold. The tribals constitute about
8.08% (2001 census) of the total Indian population. They are considered to be
the original inhabitants of India. Tribals may represent relic populations of
unknown origin, but potentially of great genetic interest2. The origins and
migrational histories of the tribal populations of the Indian subcontinent are
not clearly understood. Some tribal populations of southern India bear many
Negroid physical characteristics3,4, and may therefore be the representatives
arriving in India on an ancient wave of out-of-Africa migration. Most ethnic
populations of southern India are linguistically Dravidian. Some researchers
have proposed that the contemporary Dravidian-speaking tribes of southern and
central India may be descendants of the original inhabitants of the Indian
subcontinent5, although we have recently provided genomic evidence that the
Dravidian-speaking tribals may have arrived in India after the Austro-Asiatic
speaking tribals.

As year 2004 have an Extra month of Shavan which comes every 3 years 1857 has an
extra month too. (2004-1857= 147and 147/3 =49 ) so Diwali is in Mid November. so
30 October may be the AaSO month and 4 October may be Bhadrapada.

In that case 30 Oct 1857 was AaSO SUD Baras as full moon is after 3 days and 4
Oct 1857 be full moon of Bhadrapada.

If there after any 3rd year did not miss the sequence of extra month - which may
happen some time where extra month may come on second year and in that case 1857
may not be a year with an extra month and in that case Diwali may come earlier
add a month number to above months.

In that case 30 Oct 1857 was Kartik SUD Baras as full moon is after 3 days . and
4 Oct 1857 be full SHARD POONAM.

2061- 2005 = 56 years difference so 1857 was 1857 +56 = 1913 vikram sanvant. In
this year there was a drought in KUTCH and probably an DIKAD MA ADHIK MAHINO.

Dear Dr. Bhudia,

The photos of ramkund carving have stirred up my imaginations. We must preserve
and restore the unique heritage of our mother land . I am planning to go to
kutch in December and have a strong desire to collect a video footage so that we
can run a campaign later on.

I am sure someone must be having some historical facts and figure about ramkund
and its origin. Pl. do let me know.

Lastly, your dedication and drive is admirable and you count on our support.

Sincerely
Yash Chhaya

Dear Docs,

One in three adults has some form of allergy
An edible allergy vaccine could one day replace injections, a study says.
Jabs, which build up antibodies are used to treat severe forms of
hay-fever and cat and venom allergies, but can sometimes trigger dangerous
reactions.

The Japanese researchers said the rice-based vaccine they tested on mice
is less dangerous and more simple.

They wrote in the journal Proceedings Of The National Academy of Sciences
that it "opens new possibilities" for allergy treatment in the future.

One in four people are estimated to suffer from allergies, ranging from
reactions to food to respiratory and skin allergies.

Courses of injections have to be tightly monitored in hospital so
anything that offers the hope of an easier and safer way to give them is to be
welcomed

             Muriel Simmons, of Allergy UK

Most can be controlled by regulating diet and the immediate environment -
or drugs can be taken to limit the symptoms.

But for severe hay-fever and cat allergies, as well as for people with
particularly bad reactions to bee and wasp stings, courses of anti-allergy
injections can be given.

These can take a couple of years to complete and have to be done in
hospital because of the danger of the allergens given in the jabs prompting an
anaphylactic reaction - injections all but stopped for a while in the UK in the
1980s because of a number of deaths.

The vaccine developed by the joint University of Tokyo and Shimane
University team uses genetically-modified rice to build up the immune system.

       Risk

The oral vaccine contains only part of the allergen in comparison to
traditional injections and therefore carry less risk of a bad reaction, the
study said.

In the tests on mice allergic to cedar pollen, those taking the rice
vaccine for four weeks showed fewer allergic responses and sneezed less.

Report co-author Hidenori Takagi said the findings "open new
possibilities" for the treatment of allergies.

And he added: "Plant-based vaccines have several potential advantages over
traditional whole-allergen injected vaccines since they are simpler to
administer and cheaper to produce."

But he said more research was needed before a human vaccine could be
produced.

Muriel Simmons, chief executive of Allergy UK, said more research was
needed into treating allergies.

"Courses of injections have to be tightly monitored in hospital so
anything that offers the hope of an easier and safer way to give them is to be
welcomed."

       The Ghost in Your Genes
The scientists who believe your genes are shaped in part by your
ancestors' life experiences.

Biology stands on the brink of a shift in the understanding of
inheritance. The discovery of epigenetics - hidden influences upon the genes -
could affect every aspect of our lives.

At the heart of this new field is a simple but contentious idea - that
genes have a 'memory'. That the lives of your grandparents - the air they
breathed, the food they ate, even the things they saw - can directly affect you,
decades later, despite your never experiencing these things yourself. And that
what you do in your lifetime could in turn affect your grandchildren.

The conventional view is that DNA carries all our heritable information
and that nothing an individual does in their lifetime will be biologically
passed to their children. To many scientists, epigenetics amounts to a heresy,
calling into question the accepted view of the DNA sequence - a cornerstone on
which modern biology sits.

Epigenetics adds a whole new layer to genes beyond the DNA. It proposes a
control system of 'switches' that turn genes on or off - and suggests that
things people experience, like nutrition and stress, can control these switches
and cause heritable effects in humans.

In a remote town in northern Sweden there is evidence for this radical
idea. Lying in Överkalix's parish registries of births and deaths and its
detailed harvest records is a secret that confounds traditional scientific
thinking. Marcus Pembrey, a Professor of Clinical Genetics at the Institute of
Child Health in London, in collaboration with Swedish researcher Lars Olov
Bygren, has found evidence in these records of an environmental effect being
passed down the generations. They have shown that a famine at critical times in
the lives of the grandparents can affect the life expectancy of the
grandchildren. This is the first evidence that an environmental effect can be
inherited in humans.

In other independent groups around the world, the first hints that there
is more to inheritance than just the genes are coming to light. The mechanism by
which this extraordinary discovery can be explained is starting to be revealed.

Professor Wolf Reik, at the Babraham Institute in Cambridge, has spent
years studying this hidden ghost world. He has found that merely manipulating
mice embryos is enough to set off 'switches' that turn genes on or off.

For mothers like Stephanie Mullins, who had her first child by in vitro
fertilisation, this has profound implications. It means it is possible that the
IVF procedure caused her son Ciaran to be born with Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome
- a rare disorder linked to abnormal gene expression. It has been shown that
babies conceived by IVF have a three- to four-fold increased chance of
developing this condition.

And Reik's work has gone further, showing that these switches themselves
can be inherited. This means that a 'memory' of an event could be passed through
generations. A simple environmental effect could switch genes on or off - and
this change could be inherited.

His research has demonstrated that genes and the environment are not
mutually exclusive but are inextricably intertwined, one affecting the other.

The idea that inheritance is not just about which genes you inherit but
whether these are switched on or off is a whole new frontier in biology. It
raises questions with huge implications, and means the search will be on to find
what sort of environmental effects can affect these switches.

After the tragic events of September 11th 2001, Rachel Yehuda, a
psychologist at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, studied the
effects of stress on a group of women who were inside or near the World Trade
Center and were pregnant at the time. Produced in conjunction with Jonathan
Seckl, an Edinburgh doctor, her results suggest that stress effects can pass
down generations. Meanwhile research at Washington State University points to
toxic effects - like exposure to fungicides or pesticides - causing biological
changes in rats that persist for at least four generations.

This work is at the forefront of a paradigm shift in scientific thinking.
It will change the way the causes of disease are viewed, as well as the
importance of lifestyles and family relationships. What people do no longer just
affects themselves, but can determine the health of their children and
grandchildren in decades to come. "We are," as Marcus Pembrey says, "all
guardians of our genome."

Dear Friends of Science and Archaeology,

Subject :- New Sarasvati Civilisation found in ZURA (KOTADI) of KUTCH -
Megalithic SAMADHIs (Graves) of Zura Kotadi and potteries and bones

Zura (Jhura/Jhuran) is situated North West of BHUJ (23:24N - 68:55E) is known
place for its Geology and History as it says Zura - (Fall due to seismic
activity at Jhuran fault) of the Kutch.

But its Geology is also associated with its archaeology and civilisation in that
area. Though not much known of the place but local people are aware of the story
of those places but far away from the knowledge of Archaeological and Geological
importance as the area remained unexplored.

2km South and SE region of the Village is the Place called "KOTADI" as many
civilisation names. Area has big elevated area TIMBO having stone wall around
but hidden underneath. On exploration many of the Pottery found in the area
including toys parts and pottery of two different varieties - Red as usual as
also black - as in the area of RAMVAV and LAKHAPAR region civilisation in VAGAD
- RAPAR area.

Rivers in this region all flows from South to North - from slops of the Jhuran
Mountain slopes towards the Banni planes where there used to be a lake of the
water of the rivers Sarasvati and sindhu waters in the Rann of KUTCH.

About 1 Km East of that KOTADI area is the place of the Mystery graves. I would
say rather SAMADHIs as I have explained it before as they are the SAMADHIs is a
sitting posture and are kept open on the east side of those as are kept in
Samadhi rules as explained by Mahant Shree Kishordasji.

Many of such Samadhi are about some distance from the civilisation area as in
the Case of GADHVARI VADI civilisation (Meghpar)- one of samadhi was in
KHANDERVARI VADI.

Specimens collected from the region confirms those civilisation and Megalithic
Samadhis in the region says those to be 2000 BC.

Similar type of Mystery graves of Mystery Shapes (shapes are given to the body
shapes) are also in JANGADIA - ABADASA NALIYA -LAKHPAT way. those are also
Megalithic times graves.

I would prefer to say those Megalithic SAMADHIs as that can not be defined as an
ordinary graves. I also took an expert opinions from Mahant shree Kishordasji of
kabir Mandir BHUJ as he is well known personality of the subjects regarding
SAMADHIs. We went together there to identify those, and local observation showed
that those places has become an open spaces now as a result of environment and
weather. and shows skull bones opened from the top side and not the Limb bones.
so Those are defined as Sitting SAMADHIs. and east side of those SAMADHIs kept
open as seen shadows towards east in the Evening pictures.

prominent for the region's prehistoric population. Circular graves dating to c.
3000 BC are dotted . stone piled up a round -shaped chamber the site of the
first archaeological excavation when several circular, collective tombs like
those were excavated. The excavation of a settlement confirmed the importance
of the locale and for this reason the period c. 2500-2000 BC.

They are typical of burial mounds of about 2000 BC where the cremated remains of
the community's elders would have been buried. "Carbon dating should confirm
that the burial mound dates to about 2000BC," This means the Bronze Age
graveyard dates back . They have already found a piece of pottery containing the
remains of burnt shells. "It is possible that the enclosure could date as far
back as 3000 BC," "But we need to find more pottery that has decoration so we
can provide a more accurate date to the site."

Megalithic tombs research has a long history, inextricably linked with the
development of archaeology itself. In the beginning (2400 b.c.-1200 A.D.)
interest in for such interest consisted primarily of superstitious awe and
religious inspiration. Beyond this, the curiosity of unknown prehistoric
individuals can only be imagined.
However, many terms describing megalithic architecture were first recorded.
During the Culture History and subsequent periods the Some felt that the
chronology only needed minor adjustments and that new tomb excavations and large
catalogs would explain the evolution of the tombs. Surprisingly the advent of
C14 dating in the fifties, which revolutionized archaeology in many parts of the
world, had little effect on dating tombs, C14 dates began to hint at the real
antiquity of the tombs, but ceramic analysis continued to play the major role.

the relative chronology. Difficulties in various regional ceramic typologies
were isolated and efforts have been made to overcome incongruencies between the
typological method used for ceramics, problems in C14 dating, and theories on
megalithic tomb evolution. and related pottery contributed. The origin of
megalithic tombs , graves has been a matter of debate for centuries. The Eastern
Tomb Origin Theory is currently not persuasive. The western origin is tainted by
the diffusionists' mind-set. It is contradicted by radiocarbon dates and the
evolutionary trajectory of French tombs. The Autochthonous Theory is supported
by a logical, chronological evolution of tomb types and their spatial
distribution

The origin of megalithic tombs is an autochthonous development. This network was
held together by a common ideology expressed through the building of monumental
burial architecture which, Megalithic tomb construction expanded at different
rates , The local and regional tomb types were derived from local traditions,
local religious interpretations and customs tied to an interregional ideology.

on Timbo Near Mochirai and findings of excavation (Femur, 1st Rib,Ileum bone,
Pelvic Bones & Skull Rim)

Dear Friends of Science And Archaeology,

There is always a history behind the ancient findings. Sukhpar has history of
Rivers of ZADKO-ZADKI but that is always incomplete. recently after many
attempts I could get a complete story of that history (one can request full
story by sending a mail to the Science Group ) and that says there was a GADH.
but there was no GADH around in the area.

Last I could trace the place near a lake (Ancient reservoir) Mochirai. North of
Mochirai is a Big TIMBO which is been converted to farm land and so I could not
trace this place very easily. And North-West of that Timbo is the place of ZADO
ZADKI rivers about 1 KM area.

Zadko Zadki river is the tributary to the most ancient - river of the Kutch
"Khari River" and was flowing whole of the year in the past and today also has
secrete underground flow of the water in the river basin.

Farmers has made a step farms by levelling that TIMBO area. so as to level the
farms and step by step formation of Four layers of farms step by step up. Top
layer Sand was moved to lower level and accidentally an ancient KABAR was
exposed. that was an area of the Old civilisation area called BAJARIYUn Village
as history says. (Similar named GADH Bajario Gadh Was in GADHWARI WADI -
sarasvati civilisation found in Meghpar of Bhuj).

On exposer of the area we found the ancient potteries scattered in that area
only and some coated with Chinai - which are found in Indus civilisations. and
some similar toys with bones of ancient kabar exposed during the excavation
during the leveling of the area. (5' layers was removed and exposed the area of
KABARs and BONES and toys.)

So we started to find other ancient intact Kabars in that area. In the southern
part towards the Mochirai lake slope one of the farmer removed the sand layer
from the Second step to Third step farm to level it. They removed about next 4'
layers of the sand and exposed the hard area covered with stones. markings are
saying that they utilised the heavy machinery for that so they break the upper
coverings of those ancient Kabar area but Kabar was intact, so just exposed the
4' sand deep covered Kabars. we examined those by dig out of the Kabar area and
found the evidences of human skeletons and identified them separately and ageing
back about 4 thousand years old. they are so fragile to handle and also lost its
inner tables of bones suggesting its timing of ancient period. which we can see
in the View Of The Ancient River ZadkoZadki @Sukhpar & View Of Ancient Kabar on
Timbo Near Mochirai and findings of excavation (Femur, 1st Rib,Ileum bone,
Pelvic Bones & Skull Rim) Full detailed report and pictures of ancient potteries
and specimens can be requested by sending a mail to the Science Group

Subject:: RamKund of BHUJ - WHY & HOW they are build? - (What principles of science and astronomy/astrology applied) (please forward to ITIHAS PARISHADS)
wildkutch

Dear friends of Science and Astronomy, (AND KUTCH ITIHAS PARISHAD AND
NEWS MEDIA)

(WE DO HAVE ALL PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUES AND WILL BE SENT WITH FULL REPORTS ON
REQUEST mail reply)

There is a surprise to understand the principles of science and astronomy
for the RAMKUND of BHUJ. RAMKUND construction is associated with the temple
of the SUN. But where is the temple of the SUN in BHUJ.

Do not be surprised as History will tell everything about that. Though many
believe that Bhuj was built before (disputable) 456 years and also
disputable for the SUD OR VAD (Magsar SUD/VAD 5 1605 - 1549AD) as the
Kundali says SUD and Planets Moon and SUN position says VAD but do not say
which subh day of (SUN, MON, TUES, WED, Thurs, Fri or Saturday). so is
likely that the Kundli was put later after some time when planets position
become disputed. but all can be achieved/ verified with placatory positions
of those days.(WE HAVE ALL RECORDS OF PLACATORY ASPECTS OF THOSE PERIODS)

Ram Kund was built before 7 century along with the construction of the
TEMPLES of the SUN which are destroyed by Muslim aggressions before 6
century. and that is why the original temple of the SUN is missing from the
original place of the west side of the RAMKUND. so BHUJ was existing before
that as an old civilisation and only rebuilt when Jadejas established their
Capital as BHUJ as time is disputed history tells us.

Later RamKund JIRNODHDHAR was done after BHUJ re-establishment which we see
now a days. Original temple was SUN was destroyed so was established later
when temple of the SATYANARAYAN was built and a temple of the SUN was built
along side of the temple of the SATYANARAYAN on the Right side of
Satyanarayan temple in side the compound of the Temple. (Pujaris are unaware
of those scientific views and the history but were explained about those)

So if the SUN temple was destroyed , where that could be? it is always on
the west of the RAMKUND where there are new constructions are build. We need
to dig those place for the evidence of base stones and house foundations of
Dharmashala of the RAMKUND, under those constructed sites by others. and if
we do not do any thing and destroy our own signs of civilisations than what
is the difference between us and those Muslim aggressors who destroyed all
those temples of the SUNs and civilisations.

Principles of the Constructions of RAMKUND and TEMPLE of the SUN.

East side of the RamKund was empty to allow unobstructed sun light to the
SURYA DEVTA in the temple. (all are blocked by later construction) and so
EAST side of RAM KUND even do not have steps to go in side the KUND -
(Original stones are carved to create the RAMKUND - new EAST side of the
RAMKUND is just build in side those originals and are still without steps on
the EAST side.)

If there was nothing on the West side of the RAMKUND (on East cost of
Dhobital - /Hamirsar) we don't need steps on west side of RAMKUND to go
out - BUT steps are built to go to the temple of the SUN - So there are
possibility of temple of the SUN on the WEST side of the RAMKUND but can
only be verified after DIG gout of the evidences of BASE stones of the
temple of the SUN under the newly constructed walls and sites

West Side Steps 4+4 Grahs

Where there are temple of Sun are built there are evidence of all other
GRAHs as SUN is the king of all 9 GRUHs. So Sun temple on the west side of
the RAMKUND have places of the all remaining 8 grahs in the wall of the
RAMKUND. WEST side has CENTRAL temple of the SUN where those west side steps
lead straight to the temple of the SUN and 4 + 4 on each side of the steps
of the RAMKUND. that is the scientific principles of the existed -
(destroyed by Muslim aggressors) TEMPLE OF THE SUN in the past even before
the today's BHUJ was established by JADEJA Clans

East Side No Entry STEPS

East side of the RAMKUND was kept empty and some times even without steps to
avoid entries bye any one, so sun light is not obstructed coming from the
sun and reflected from the surface of the water in the Ramkund to go to the
straight to the LORD Sun Statue face to illuminate the face of the SUN.

Water source was underground from the near lake of HAMIRSARs / and its
underground water table. so as to serve the scientific principle of the
construction of the temples of the SUN in the PAST.

The Latitude of the place 23 - 18' North may be suggesting that the Earth
was tilted same degree at time the temple of the SUN was built - which is
different than that of the present tilt of the Earth. so that may give clues
when was that tilt of the Earth was the time of the building of original
RAMKUNDS and TEMPLES of the SUNs.

FULL PHOTOGRAPHIC NEWS REPORT WILL be posted to you on your request mail
reply.

MEAN TIME : PLEASE GIVE YOUR CLUES AND OPINION TO FEEDBACK THE ANY
EVIDENCES FOUND AT THE PLACE WITH YOUR PERSONAL VISITS THERE LOCALLY AT THE
RAMKUND AND TEMPLE OF THE SUN IN THE SATYANARAYAN TEMPLE.

Massive young galaxy surprises astronomers
   a.. 16:57 28 September 2005
   b.. NewScientist.com news service
A massive galaxy has been discovered early in the history of the universe, a
time when such mature galaxies were not thought to exist. The find calls into
question current thinking on galaxy formation.

The galaxy, HUDF-JD2, is one of the most distant ever observed. Its light,
captured by the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes, began its journey towards
Earth a mere 800 million years after the Big Bang.

"That's a very short timescale to form such a massive galaxy," says Bahram
Mobasher, an astronomer with the European Space Agency and the Space Telescope
Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, US.

The time when stars and galaxies first formed is "a holy grail that many people
are hunting for in astronomy," says John Huchra, an astronomer with the
Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, US.

Similar galaxies have been seen at slightly shorter distances away, but none is
as massive as the latest find, which is about eight times the mass of our own
galaxy, the Milky Way.

Little and large
In the 1960s, astronomers suspected that big galaxies formed before small ones
as gravity clumped gas and dust together in a short span of time. Then theorists
proposed that small galaxies formed first and clumped together to form large
galaxies. If so, the bigger galaxies would have required a long time to
accumulate.

But the new observations of HUDF-JD2 suggest at least some large galaxies may
have formed first. To bolster the idea, Mobasher's team is now looking for more
galaxies at this distance or even further away and more massive.

Astronomers found the galaxy hiding among 10,000 other galaxies in the Hubble
Ultra Deep Field. This is the product of an intense look at a small patch of the
sky and is a composite of images in the visible and infrared ranges.

HUDF-JD2 cannot be seen in the visible range as this light has been absorbed by
hydrogen in the universe between it and Earth. But the galaxy could be seen in
longer wavelengths. It was unveiled by infrared and near infrared observations
by Hubble, and later by the Spitzer space telescopes and the Very Large
Telescope at the European Southern Observatory.

Scientists would normally confirm the distance of a galaxy using Earth-bound
telescopes, including the 10-metre Keck and 8-metre Gemini telescopes, but the
light is too faint.

However, the James Webb Space Telescope, currently scheduled for a launch no
earlier than 2013, should be able to confirm the distance because it will
measure in the near infrared.

The research on HUDF-JD2 will be published in a future issue of the
Astrophysical Journal.

Subject: Reservation of the treasured land area of fossils of KUTCH for the
Geological research interest of the University of KUTCH.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Kutch is very rich area of geological science, not only for the minerals of the
land but also the fossil rich area of KUTCH gives name as "GOLD MINE OF
GEOLOGY". 80% of the types of known fossil types of the world are available only
in KUTCH and also very rare type of soft body fossils are also available in some
of the following fossil rich area.

Our observations suggested that if such areas are not protected than some trader
mentality people will steel those and vandals will destroy such treasure which
are useful for the research work of the geology and kutch University will loose
such a treasure of the educational interest.

So we request the government and the concerned geological departments to take an
appropriate earliest action to reserve such an area mentioned below for the
purpose of the Kutch university geological research purpose.

As Balasinor is decided as a fossil reserved area for the dinosaurs' fossil
land, Kutch has multiple varieties of fossils along with rare type of fossils
and those needs protection from steeling mentality traders and vandals.

Area of the RANN of the Kutch (also area near ANJAR - Kutch) known for
dinosaurs' fossil is under the Military and BSF protection from such traders and
vandals but following area needs the further protection as reserved fossil land.

Areas covered for the reservations:

Area of the KHATROL range of the mountain 5 Km south of BHUJ extending from EAST
- WEST (Kukma, LAHER to LANKI - BHARASAR) covering mountain range of the area of
the following - LAHER, GANGESHWAR - Gunavari River area, Tapkeshwar and JADURA
mountain area, Bharapar sanatorium and SADATA, Bharasar and LANKI mountain area.

Amongst those the Gangeshwar mountain area and Gunavari River area is very rich
with millions of fossils of variety of types of fossils including the rare
variety of the soft body marine fossils. So it needs particularly an attention
to protect it with an earliest action by the Government of the GUJARAT state.

Types of the fossils available in the area:

Marine fossils : multiple varieties of ammonites and other cephalopods soft body
fossils. Eg. Octopus soft body fossils.

       Belemnites,

       Fish and jelly fish fossils,

       Turtles and Turtle egg Fossils,

       Crocodilians,

Sea shells - Shankhs and chips,

       Coral and coral rift fossils,

+ wood fossils and Grass and vegetation fossils,

       Pre Jurassic Egg hatcheries.

Dear Docs and friends of medical science,

Down's syndrome recreation http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4274230.stm

Scientists have been able to introduce most of a human chromosome into mice -
and make the most successful recreation of Down's syndrome so far. But what will
this enable researchers to do?

What was being looking at?

The researchers were aiming to transfer as much of a human chromosome into a
mouse embryonic stem cell as possible. Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes which
contain all human genes. Males and females share 22 of these chromosome pairs;
the 23rd is the sex chromosome, where women have two X chromosomes and men have
one X and one Y. Down's syndrome belongs to a class of disorders known as
aneuploidies in which individuals have the wrong number of chromosomes.
Scientists do not know why these extra copies occur. Aneuploidies occur in at
least 5% of all pregnancies and are a significant cause of illness, death and
miscarriage. People with Down's are born with three copies of chromosome 21.
There are an estimated 60,000 people in the UK who have Down's syndrome. They
can expect to live between 40 and 60 years.

What has been achieved?

The researchers, led by Victor Tybulewicz at the National Institute for Medical
Research and Professor Elizabeth Fisher from the Institute if Neurology at
University College London, were able to add about 90% of human chromosome 21 -
which contains around 250 genes - into the embryonic stem cells of mice. They
did this by extracting all chromosomes from a human cell. These were then
squirted onto mouse embryonic stem cells, each of which will absorb one
chromosome at random. Stem cells that took up chromosome 21 were then isolated
and injected into mouse embryos. These were then replaced in the mother, whose
offspring were shown to have the extra copy of chromosome 21, which also had
problems with memory, in brain function and in the formation of the heart,
similar to those that can occur in people with Down syndrome.

Why is this significant?

The scientists involved in this work have been trying to get to this stage for
13 years. Until now, it had only been possible to transfer single genes or, at
best, fragments of human chromosomes into mouse cells, meaning study of the
effects of disease were limited. This achievement of transferring almost the
whole of the chromosome into the embryonic stem cells will give a much fuller
picture.

How will it help in the study of Down's syndrome?

It is hoped it will enable scientists to examine the role individual genes play
in Down's syndrome, and why those with the condition are particularly
susceptible to diseases like leukaemias and autoimmune disorders. Understanding
why this is should help scientists work out what can be done to help people with
DS, and may also shed light on how the diseases work in people who do not have
the condition. It means scientists will be able the study the condition, without
having to consider creating human embryos with the condition. Researchers say it
will also help in the study of other aneuploidies, such as Edward's syndrome,
where there are three copies of chromosome 18 and Patau's syndrome, where an
extra copy of chromosome 13 is present. Both prove fatal in childhood. And they
hope it will help unravel the picture of individual genes responsible for
complex conditions, such as diabetes, and also help create artificial
chromosomes for gene therapy.

Are there any concerns over the development?

The pressure group Human Genetics Alert has raised concerns over the creation of
virtually whole chromosomes from another species. It has suggested scientists
may be creating a creature somewhere between a mouse and a person, particularly
if work progresses so more than one chromosome can be added.

Subject:: Needs of the amendment of the laws of regulating Medical /Genetic medical science research (Surrogacy and cloning)

Dear friends of the Science of Genetics / medical and lagislation,

Sub: Needs of the amendment of the laws of regulating Medical /Genetic medical
science research (Surrogacy and cloning) as that will affect the laws of
paternity as well as international laws of Nationality as well.

Recent developments in science and particularly Medical science has created more
complications not only on the ethical issues but also in relation to the "the
Identity" of the individuals, Maternity / paternity issues and also will affect
the laws of the nationality of all countries and will require an international
control by laws (LLM Medical & Medical science research regulation -
international medical research regulating body ) to regulate such scientific
research particularly genetic medical research and surrogacy and cloning.

Issue is quite complicated too. recently many business outsourcing is advancing
to many of the developing countries as the (overhead) cost of the same business
at developed country cost more. so outsourcing help to reduce the overhead as
that will be cheaper in developing country. so that outsourcing is just using a
high tech cheap labour from such a manpowered developing countries. also some
white collar cheap administrative outsourcing is also in place.

But now the recent advancing in Science research / medical / genetics science
research and surrogacy and cloning has complicated such issues. and out sourcing
of the surrogacy is just knocking the door to such a developing countries as
that cost more in developed countries.

In Dwapar Uga seventh SON of DEVAKI and Vasudeva was transplanted to the
Revatiji - sister of Devkiji. that was an ideal example of the surrogacy to
protect the child. but now a business is waiting to open doors to surrogacy to
get a child. and if one is unable to do so - or unable to fertilise or Conceive,
one may use cloning technique to solve the problem where law is not regulating
the research work.

Once cloned embryo is created and transplanted there will not be possible to
trace the genetic/cloning. such a baby having XX in chromosome in their 23 pairs
of Genes. as normal XX in general.

1) problem with surrogacy out sourcing issues.: as long as relative are using
their surrogacy - as in Baldeva - in Dwapar uga (we generally do not believe
such story and ask for scientific proofs for the support of such story. but now
genetic / medical science it self has solved the problem - so One can not deny
those and has to adapt that science was well advanced at that time than that of
today's science)

If outsourcing is used . Who will be legal Mother ? we say genetic mother will
be the real mother in case of test by genetic inheritance tests proves. well
Mother will chose to surrogate outside the country. what will be the nationality
of the child? Father's? which father? Mother's? which mother? - whether foreign
national or Nationality by Birth?

When cloning is used it makes more complicated. Though the genetic paternity - I
will say maternity test as NO paternity is involved in the case. on which we
rely for genetic inheritance of the generation - who will be the father? No one?
who will be the Mother? genetic ? surrogating? and we will not be able to prove
any such cases. and in criminal cases the whole forensic system will be in
Blackout to trace any genetic resources.

Dear Docs and friends of medical science,

Green tea 'cuts Alzheimer's risk' just too late - was published on WEDNES DAY
OCTOBER 27 2004 Reviewed By Brunilda Nazario, MD -WebMD Medical News
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4261558.stm

A study from England's University of Newcastle upon Tyne shows that green and
black teas may inhibit certain brain enzymes linked to Alzheimer's disease. The
study's findings may lead to new therapeutic developments for dementia and
Alzheimer's disease, which is estimated to affect 10 million people worldwide.
also boot memory function of the brain.

Coffee, in contrast, did not show any significant effects in the study.

Researchers including Edward Okello of the university's biology school pitted
green tea, black tea, and coffee. They found that tea stops the activity of
chemicals in the brain associated with the development of Alzheimer's disease.
Symptoms of Alzheimer's disease occur when brain nerve cells that process
information and memory degenerate and die. Abnormalities such as plaque and
tangles proteins form on nerve cells.

Green tea 'cuts Alzheimer's risk'

An ingredient of green tea may help to protect the brain against the ravages of
Alzheimer's disease, research in the US suggests.

University of South Florida scientists found the component prevented
Alzheimer's-like damage in the brains of mice bred to develop symptoms. The
component - EGCG - is already strongly suspected of offering protection against
certain cancers. The study is published in the Journal of Neuroscience. It
provides evidence that EGCG decreases production of the beta-amyloid protein
thought to play a key role in the development of Alzheimer's symptoms. It is this
protein that forms the characteristic plaques found in the brain of Alzheimer's
patients which are thought to lead to nerve damage and memory loss.

After treating Alzheimer's mice for several months with daily injections of pure
EGCG, the researchers observed a dramatic decrease - as much as 54% - of
brain-clogging Alzheimer's plaques. Lead researcher Dr Jun Tan said: "The
findings suggest that a concentrated component of green tea can decrease brain
beta-amyloid plaque formation. "If beta-amyloid pathology in this Alzheimer's
mouse model is representative of Alzheimer's disease pathology in humans, EGCG
dietary supplementation may be effective in preventing and treating the
disease." Green tea contains many antioxidants, including those known as
flavonoids, that can protect against damage to the brain caused by charged
particles called free radicals. However, the Florida team showed that other
flavonoids in green tea actually block EGCG's ability to prevent the harmful
build up of beta-amyloid. Thus drinking green tea alone would not likely have a
beneficial effect.

Supplements

Dr Doug Shytle, who also worked on the study, said: "This finding suggests that
green tea extract selectively concentrating EGCG would be needed to override the
counteractive effect of other flavonoids found in green tea." "A new generation
of dietary supplements containing pure EGCG may lead to the greatest benefit for
treating Alzheimer's disease." Humans would need a daily dose of 1,500 to 1,600
mg of EGCG to approximate the level that had a positive impact on mice. That
dosage has already been studied in healthy human volunteers and was found to be
safe and well tolerated. The Florida team now plans to study whether multiple
oral doses of EGCG can improve memory loss in Alzheimer's mice as well as reduce
plaque formation. Harriet Millward, of the Alzheimer's Research Trust, told the
BBC News website: "This is quite encouraging progress, building on previous
evidence that antioxidants in green tea might be beneficial to Alzheimer's
patients either as treatment or prevention." However, Dr Millward said the role
of beta-amyloid in the brain was not well understood, and reducing levels too
far might cause damage. It was also not clear whether the formation of plaques
was a cause of Alzheimer's, or just an effect of it.

New Sarasvati civilisations found in Kutch GUJARAT (HARAPPAN PERIOD) DISTRICT
KUTCH
Lakhapar 23.33N - 70.28E - RAMVAV 23.32 N - 70.28 E :- (Details of Lakhapar and
Ramvav Sarasvati civilisation)

Dear friends of Science of Geology and GeoArchaeology,

Sub: LAKHAPAR - NEW SARASWATI civilisation Found - Geo Archaeology Report of
CHOBARI, Ekal Mata VAV, RmaVAV & Kali RamVAV and Lakhapar Sarasvati Civilisation
(VAGAD & BHACHAU)

I was inspired to visit VAGAD area of Kutch Including parts of Bhachau and RAPAR
in Kutch as there was a religious festival of PUNARODHDHAR of Temple of CHOBARI.
(Chaubari - four Vavs made by PANDAVAs during their exile).

Though one may not be so inspired only by festival but there was some thing
more. The one of the Oldest temple of Shiva is to be SWAYAMBHU SHIVa Ling and
was created by Pandavas SHIVA pujanam. according to the Pujaris and oldest
people of Village the SHIVa Ling is still growing up out of the Earth. To some
it looks Odd and imaginary in the time of the recent developing science age!!
but they insist that, that has happened in front of their eyes during their
lifespan. and that's the history the Village has name Chaubari - CHOBARI. does
Such a LOKVAYAKA history /STORY has any importance? lets check in the report of
the geo- archaeology of the region.

The VAV at that temple place is built by Pandavas (before 5100- 5200 years -
which is about the time before MAHABHARAT time scale and also during the time of
destruction of all the Sarasvati Civilisation). also the region hold the area of
GEDI where PANDAVAS stayed during their GUPTa VAaS. and Area of the BHIMa GUDA
where Bhim swinged his first wife HEDAMBA and BHANJDO may be the place of
residence of Hedamba.

1) The VAV - VAV was built during the civilisation time but people of village
made cover of the CEMENTING the original inside which holds the clue of the
constructions of that time scale of before 4500 years. That VAV has sweet water
just near the ground. when the Water of Sarasvati was flowing in the RANN of the
Kutch and so Villages near by the shore was having that underground water just
near the ground at that time.

Not only that Vav but similar VAV in near by region at EKALMATA temple is still
there and having water near ground. (picture is attached (EKALMATA VAV.JPG).
believed to be over flowing over the ground at that time of Sarasvati water in
RANN of KUTCH. and markation are itself an evident there in the place.

Similar VAV at Kali RAM VAV near RamVAV village is there and water is just near
ground. as that was also having water over the ground during Sarasvati waters in
RANN of the KUTCH. recently many people died as attempted to go to get water
from the VAV because of GAS GADTAR in the Kali RamVav. Picture and water in VAV
is visible in picture attached (KaliRamVAV.JPG).

Waters in the region was flowing from south to North wards to wards the RANN of
the Kutch to join waters of SARASVATI river. and today also an UNDERGROUND water
flow is existing in those VAVs of those region.

2) Geologically as the Grounds of that region was lifted up in the time and
water of the SARASVATI was stopped flowing to the RANN of the Kutch by earth
activity and seismic lift up of the Sarasvati River basin and surrounding area
of the tributaries of VAV areas of Chaubari- CHOBARI, EKAL MATA VAV and KALI RAM
VAV also. but under ground flow of the water is still existing near ground.

Geologically the area has history of seismic lift up from the water beds as
their fossils of that region suggest that there were fresh water lakes of the
Sarasvati and Life of those fresh water animals are fossilised and are plenty of
available in the region known as Stones KERI and fossils of the bones of fresh
water fish. - file attached as RamVavFossils.jpg (They may be fossils of those
of the Fresh water animals)

3) SHIVa Ling and LOKVAYAKA related to Geological activity as the core of Magma
Lava is lifting up the ground in the region and still active to lift up the
Dykes of the LAVA in the regions. which has resulted in the lifting of the
ground of the basin of the Sarasvati river which resulted to the dry bed of the
river. such an activity is still active in Gangeshwar (near Gangeshwar Mahadeva
temple and Gunavari River in the mountains of MADHAPAR 5Km - BHUJ 10 KM) Dome
which is still lifting up and so resulting longitudinal faults (cracks) appears
frequently.

4) RAMVAV fossils. plenty of fossils are on the ground of the main bazaar of the
village. fish and bones are clearly visible in the fossilised land in the
street. suggesting there may be a fresh water lake at that time and lift up of
the ground resulted to the formation of the fossils of those fresh water
animals.as a result of seismic activity.

So Ram vav is an ideal place to have the SARASVATI CIVILISATION in the area of
the KALI RAMVAV and LAKHAPAR region.- (Not The Lakhapar/ RAMVAAV
village)findings of the potteries and toys of the Sarasvati civilisation are
attached photo of LAKHAPARFind.jpg. Attached TOPO map file (ChobaroTOPOmap.jpg
)Kankhoi Bharudia Ekal vanoi suvai ram vav, kali ramvav lakhapar will give the
clue to understand that area of the VAGAD region. River flows from SW to NE from
the SE side of the LAKHAPAR Sarasvati civilisation area to wards the Ekal mata
region.

Dear Friends of Medical Science and Genetics,
Inherited child blindness probed http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4250226.stm
UK scientists are exploring a way to stop babies being born with a form of
blindness that runs in families. (such families who runs blind ness in
generations (Ashavin maharaj and his father and uncle too- have NO diabetes)
are in madhapar but we never paid an attention to investigate such cause and
possible way to stop that - and thats we are lacking)
Leber congenital amaurosis usually causes total blindness from birth as a result
of mutations in certain genes passed down from the parents. Researchers at
University College London believe the key to the disease lies in eye proteins
these genes hold the code for, and how they interact. The Action Medical
Research work will home in on one gene and its protein. Lead investigator
Professor Mike Cheetam said: "Unlike some of the other genes that cause LCA, we
don't know exactly what this AIPL1 protein does. "But we know that it causes a
severe form of the disease when it's mutated, so it's important to understand
what it does in the eye."

Molecular chaperone

He said they could tell from its similarity to other proteins that it is likely
to act as a molecular chaperone, escorting proteins round the body and disposing
of them if they start to misbehave. Dr Cheetam's team aims to track the proteins
which AIPL1 protein escorts, and what happens when things go wrong in LCA. The
disease happens because the light sensors in the eye - called rods and cones -
do not work as they should. AIPL1 is present in rods and cones while the eye
develops, but only in rods in adults.

Dr Cheetam believes that somehow in the later stages of pregnancy or in early
childhood the cone cells "switch off" the AIPL1 gene.In his studies, he will use
a half of an essential yeast enzyme which will attach to AIPL1. The other half
of the enzyme will attach to the many possible proteins made by the eye as it
develops. Only when the two halves come together will the yeast grow. When the
researchers see the yeast growing, they will know the proteins have interacted.
Professor Alistair Fielder, professor of ophthalmology at City University and
member of the Royal National Institute of the Blind, said: "It's incredibly
exciting. "LCA is a pretty devastating condition. There is no treatment. "If
this work offers help for these children it would be fantastic. It would be an
unbelievable breakthrough." He said that currently, fewer than a quarter of the
causes of childhood blindness were treatable.
