Huge new prime number discovered

Mathematicians in California could be in line for a $100,000 prize (£54,000) for
finding a new prime number which has 13 million digits. Prime numbers can be
divided only by themselves and one.
The prize was set up by the Electronic Frontier Foundation to promote
co-operative computing on the Internet.
The team from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) found the new
number by linking 75 computers and harnessing their unused power.
This enabled them to perform the enormous number of calculations needed to find
and verify a new prime
The search for new high prime number continues Thousands of people around the
world linked the powers of their personal computers in the search for a higher
'Mersenne' prime number - named after 17th-Century French mathematician Marin
Mersenne.
Mersenne primes are expressed as two to the power of P, minus one - with P being
itself a prime number.
Edson Smith, the leader of the winning UCLA team, told the Associated Press news
agency: 'We're delighted. Now we're looking for the next one, despite the odds.'

Generally when we start the subject of Genetics every one Mandelian laws. But

Though we believe that science has well advanced and today Genetics has advanced
in such a stage that we need to keep control of the using genetic materials and
techniques’. Including Stem cell experiments, Cloning embryos, and
tempering/MANIPULATING genetics. Though west believes that most of the genetics
research work goes to their credit for the such genetics research. BUT that the
true. I have been reading research on this subjects since 1960. and in 1962
during India China war one of the leaked article from COMMUNIST RUSSIA was
saying that a embryo was created with ape female and a Human sperm. And the
experiment was criticised as against nature and was not done in REVERSE stage
(Human Female and Ape sperms) else consequence would have been dangerous.
(HERE fertilisation was created by breaking the SPECIES BARIER of fertilisation)
But Ramayana says JAMBUVAN was born with similar genetics science where Bear
Female and Human sperm genes formed the JAMBUVAN where genetic species barrier
of fertilisation has been over ruled.
Though many a times medical studies do explain Barriers of BBB (Blood Brain
Barriers), SPECIES BARIERS etc. But now a days it has been seen that many
experimental studies shows that many a times such barriers actually do not work
in medical heath problems.
E.g. many types of molecular, viral and genetics materials cross such barriers
and give unexpected results in Clinical and pathological aspects.
Similarly Species barrier has been recognised as no longer working in today’s
genetics science. And it has been experimented since 1960s in Communist Russia.
Today’s experimental results are existing in nature. Science is still looking
for YETI – BIGFOOT. But HUMANZEE is existing as HUMAN and chimpanzee genetic
combination.
LIGER exist as LION and Tigress genetic Combination.
But such a mixed generation are NATURALLY unfertile form. So such a GENETICALLY
TEMPERED next generation exist only after GENITIC MANIPULATIONS only.
Gynaecology has advance using techniques’ Test tube embryo fertilisation and
also with transferring/ implanting embryos to suitable situations. And is not
new and has been used in case of BALDEVA, where a total surrogating was carried
out but we will not go in that details here.
GENETIC GANESHA.
As it has been described in Shiva Purana, Ganesha was creation by Mata PARVATI
from her somatic CELLS of hands in absence of the SHIVA. So may be Ma Parvatiji
have used the Somatic Cloning technique.
Does that look like more of mythological but today’s genetics do not contradict

Why create chimeras?
UK scientists have applied for permission to create embryos by fusing human DNA
with cow eggs. Researchers from Newcastle University and Kings College, London,
have asked the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority for a three-year
licence. The hybrid human-bovine embryos would be used for stem cell research
and would not be allowed to develop for more than a few days. But critics say it
is unethical and potentially dangerous. Liberal Democrat MP Dr Evan Harris - a
member of the Commons Science and Technology Select Committee - said: 'If human
benefit can be derived by perfecting therapeutic cloning techniques or from
research into subsequently-derived stem cells, then it would actually be immoral
to prevent it just because of a 'yuck' factor.' Stem cell research is one of the
most promising areas of medical science. It is this ability which scientists
want to harness to treat diseases such as Parkinson's Disease, strokes and
Alzheimer's Disease. To do that, they need to have access to thousands of
embryos for research.
Short supply
The problem is that human eggs for research are in short supply and to obtain
them women have to undergo surgery. That is why scientists want to use cows'
eggs as a substitute. They would insert human DNA into a cow's egg which has had
its genetic material removed, and then create an embryo by the same technique
that produced Dolly the Sheep. The resulting embryo would be 99.9% human; the
only bovine element would be DNA outside the nucleus of the cell. It would,
though, technically be a chimera - a mixing of two distinct species into one.
The aim would be to extract stem cells from the embryo when it is six days old,
before destroying it.

The quality and the viability of stem cells would then be checked to see if the
technique had worked. The scientists also plan to examine the way the cells are

learn from the egg cell how to make embryonic stem cells without having to use
an animal egg at all then some day we may be able to cure diseases such as
Parkinson's disease, or better still some of the age-related diseases which are
creating such a burden on society.' Dr Stephen Minger, from King's College
London, said: 'The current state of the technology is such that literally
hundreds of human ooctyes (eggs) from young women will be required to generate a
single human embryonic stem cell line. 'Therefore we consider it more
appropriate to use non-human oocytes from livestock as a surrogate. 'We feel
that the development of disease-specific human embryonic stem cell lines from
individuals suffering from genetic forms of neurodegenerative disorders will
stimulate both basic research and the development of new medicines to treat
these horrific brain diseases.'

Many of us has Visited Dholavira and got plenty of the information about the
ancient civilisation, history and its discovery. But when we are asked for the
name of the person 'who DISCOVERD the Dholavira civilisation'? Name of one of
the Archaeologist comes out from our mouth. But Very few of us Might have
visited the History person 'GADHAVI' of the village Dholavira. He was the Actual
discoverer of the DHOLAVIRA Civilisation.
Every time I visit Dholavira I desired to visit the Old History man SHAMBHUDAN
GADHVI of Dholavira. Every time I Visit him I get some thing New from him.
During our last Geo-Archaeological expedition to Khadir I tried to contact as
many local people as possible in the area.
This time during July 2007 we started our expedition in the area of Khadir and
Rann Of KUTCH after a good rain in the area so we can feel easy to go around in
very warm area otherwise. So we wished to collect information of the Hills of
Bhanjano and its northern side Collapsed / Land slide of Mountain hills. And
also for the Maruda TAKKAR area and rout to go there. That was possible only
with the help of Local people who have been there before in their life and with
the help of the BSF rangers. So we visited both groups of people BSF Rangers and
also local visitors to the RANN and BHANHJANO hills and Also MARUDA TAKKAR.
Similarly Local people of the area knew about Wood fossils in Rann as they told
me about that during my first visit to Khadir during just after the Earthquake.
But geologist reached late to confirm the fact. Here in short I give details
given by Shri Sambhudan Gadhavi about discovery of Dholavira Civilisation and
how he was discouraged and treated. He was the only literate (up to standard 6
ONLY) person in the village during his searching life. And now as he the founder
of DHOLAVIAR CIVILISATION is forgotten from history of Dholavira.
When I visited to Dholavira - KOTADA, first I visited the founder of that
ancient civilisation, Shri Sambhudan Gadhavi. I recorded his visit and I would
like to put some of the conclusion of the visit with him in DHOLAVIRA Mr.
Sambhudan Gadhavi was interested in our ancient civilisation, but he was not the
Archaeologist. THERE WAS LOK VAYAKA - 'peoples' belief' that there was an OLD
GADH - Old Castle and people were dead there many years ago and every one in
village Dholavira was aware of these and That was not the new for local people.
Mr Sambhu Gadhavi was interested in that as those stones of foundation and
castle was evidently visible to every one. He started to collect the pottery
parts and one day he found one with a picture of the Indus civilisation symbol.
'As he was collecting those pottery parts –(In Loacl Language called THIKARIEs),
He was locally also known discouraging Named as DHIKARIO'. According to him he
found the pottery part that resembles the picture of the HARAPPAN which he
studied and seen in the history book of year 5-6 of that time. So he decided to
take it to the museum curator of Kutch Museum at BHUJ. and said to Him ' I have
found the pottery part that resembles the picture of the HARAPPAN which I
studied and seen in the history book of year 5-6 '. And the research started and
we found the NEW - Most ANCIENT Indian-Indus civilisation of the world. which is
destroyed before about 5000 years? so that civilisation must have developed
before another few thousands years means that civilisation must be 7 to 10
thousands years old. which I wrote in 2000 that that time scale relates to
Mahabharata and the YADAVASTHALi time.
Surprisingly same LOK VAYAKA is there 'peoples' believe that there is NAND KUVA
- well and many NAND related Things were found including NAND KUVA - a well' and
that confirms that at that time scale that Nand Vansh is YADU VANSH and so that
is part of The YadavaSthali. Human Bones found at those places requires to be
examined for the injury by sharp weapons. one skull was found with the injury of
spear. Not only that archaeologists at Dholavira found some fossilised stones of
the WOOD FOSSILs. Not only that some of the stone used in the construction of
Old DHOLAVIRA are those fossils stones. and that needs attention of the
Geologists along with the Archaeologists working in Dholavira. Khadir - where
Dholavira is established is it self a land of fossils.
Land is in the RANN of the KUTCH and also border area. so prohibited for
exploration. So we contacted the Military authority to assist us. They promised
us to take us to escort to those places of KHADIR and BHANJADO Mountain and KAUR
BAT for Dinosaurs fossils land of 180 Mn years old and also collaborate with us
for scientific research. That will explore not only the Archaeology but also
those Geological areas of the fossils land.
LOK VAYAKA 'Peoples belief' says there are more Castles in the middle of the
desert and on the Mountain of BHANJADO. and that co relate with the MAHABHARAT.
so more ancient civilisation -even more ANCIENT than the Dholavira are to be
found in those area - north of the Dholavira.

Who were the Aryans, Have they descended from Central Asia...??? there are
many. THAT WAS THE BELIEF BUT GENETIC STUDY HAS CONTRADICTORY TO THAT.
Emigration, INSTEAD OF MIGRATION OF ARYAN FROM MIDDLE ASIA. And contradicting to
that the archaeological study now reverses the history, and insists to rewrite
that history as Aryan.

We visited this Timbo area last year on 28 August 2007 and searched for the
clues and proofs for the civilisation. Local farmer did help us to guide to the
locality and also explained that he has visited this place once before many
years ago.Sarli and VEKRA are old villages But histories are destroyed and still
some left undergrounds in TIMBO area. VEKARA was MANJELESHWAR (will discuss
MANJALESHWAR in next report email). SARLi village is also knows as SARLI
TIMBO.Means the area of lost civilisation under the OLD elevated land (hilly)
area.Today’s also many farms in Panchayat records of the SARLi village may be
named as farm named with TIMBO. But many do not know this. only few aged above
70 might be knowing this. THE ARE OF TIMBO in SARLI village is near the NORTH
River RUKMAVATI which meet the river from VADASAR which originated from The
CHADV RAKAHL -ABU BHANG Dam area. and then flows to RAMPAR GANGAJI to MANDVI to

Many doubts were raised when ETV and Bombay SAMACHAR broadcasted the following
news, with doubt that the PURVA - Aadi MANAV ancestor was not existing at that
time but now the skeleton evidence came out that the ancestor missing link was
there at that time before (about 22 to 5.5 million years ago) between 11 and 16
million years ago.
The partial skeleton of this 13-million-year-old 'missing link' was found by
palaeontologists working at a dig site near Barcelona in Spain.
That time matches with the Rameshwarm bridge and RAMAVATAR and Koteshwar -
RAVANa History (Tretauga), means Formation of MONKEY and Apes army formation by
DEVAs. that will rule out all the doubts raised for the PURVA - Aadi MANAV.
Hominid Foot prints found in older layers may have been formed later in the
geological process but the study of Photomicrographs and infrared photography is
required so that to eliminate that there were no signs of carving or artificial
markings in or around the prints. A study of microscopic count of sand grains is
ralso required so indicating that the material within the prints had been
impacted, and created as the result of a force pressing down on the firmament
while it was soft. These facts show that the prints were made by the natural
result of pressure from the human foot, and in no way could have been duplicated
by carving nor only the pheneonmena of honeycomb appearance as the study of
Photomicrographs and infrared photography can differnciate the compact sand
particles under the pressurepoints which are not in honeycomb pattern
appearance.
Many geologists and paleontologists do visit with curiocity of the specimen and
the subject but have no background of study of Photomicrographs and infrared
photography and its geological/paleontological applications so do not have any
clue or chance to study those subjects in that angle of research. unfortunately
lack of resourses and facility for such a research.

The most cogent explanation of anomalous fossil footprints is perhaps offered by

original fossils have been formed, be filled with a sediment that in its turn
may also become the medium in which the impression of a footprint or the body of
a creature is fossilized. When this second period of fossilization is complete
the newly formed rock may be indistinguishable from the older formation, and the
new fossils may appear to have formed at the same time as those which are much
older. Thus, several fossilization processes may wind up looking like a
footprint made at the same time. This is undoubtebly the case in many instances,
but the theory is lacking in several respects. Firstly, fossilized human
footprints have been found deep within rocks that show no evidence of
discontinuous formation, not just at the junction of sedimentary layers.
Secondly, out of place fossils are often inconsistent not only with the ages of
associated fossils but also with the rock strata and the age conventionally

shared by all living primates walked with the dinosaurs more than 80 million
years ago. The results came from a new technique used to reconstruct the course
of animal evolution.Previously, opposing scientific camps estimated that the
animal that gave rise to the primates lived as recently as 55 million years ago
and as long ago as 90 million years. The newly proposed date is closer to the
older end of the range. That's significant because the older estimate, which was
derived from studies based on molecular genetics, identifies the earliest
primates as contemporaries of the dinosaurs. The younger date, which was based
on fossil records, represents a period after the dinosaurs had already become
extinct. 'Our results agree broadly with a molecular estimate [and] contradict
widely accepted palaeontological estimates,' Simon Tavaré of the University of
Southern California and his colleagues reported in the journal Nature.
Their finding sprang from a scientific collaboration that straddled the fields
of biology and mathematics and spanned research centers from California to the
Swiss Alps.
Working with colleagues from Harvard University, the University of Washington,
Chicago's Field Museum, and institutions in England and Switzerland, Tavaré used
a novel mathematical approach to help answer a major piece of the evolutionary
puzzle.
Past Views
The search for the first primate—that is, the last animal to have been an
ancestor of all members of the primate family tree—has long intrigued scientists
and others interested in humanity's evolutionary origins.
From the oldest known fossil remains of primates, paleontologists have
determined that some ancient members of our evolutionary family lived and died
at least as far back as 55 million years ago.
Fossils alone, however, cannot disclose precisely when members of the last
common ancestral species began to segregate into distinct populations that
eventually gave rise to the modern array of some 200 primate species.
That's because the fossil record is incomplete. Paleontologists can't tell how
close any particular specimen was to the progenitor of the primates.
So, to approach the problem from another angle, scientists in the field of
molecular genetics have compared subtle differences in the DNA of living
primates. Geneticists can tell how recently two species diverged from a common
ancestor from information etched in the organisms' genes: The fewer differences
researchers find between two genetic codes, the more recently the species parted
evolutionary company. Using this method, geneticists have concluded that about
90 million years have elapsed since all living primates shared their last common
ancestor. Based on such studies, evolutionary biologists such as Pennsylvania
State University's Blair Hedges believe that early primates lived alongside the
great reptiles.
'[Primates and other] major groups of mammals evolved for tens of millions of
years before the dinosaurs became extinct,' Hedges said. That mass extinction
occurred about 65 million years ago.
Fleshing out the Fossil Record
To reconcile the genetics-based date with the comparatively young estimates of
paleontologists, Tavaré and his colleagues fashioned an evolutionary tree of the
primates as it's known from fossils.
Not wanting to depend entirely on what paleontologists have turned up, the
researchers then fleshed out the rudimentary tree with educated guesswork. They
used mathematical equations to predict how many species of primates are not
represented in the fossil record, and to predict when and for how long those
species may have lived.
The resulting model—based loosely on hard evidence but expanded to take into
account species that lived and died out but remain unknown to science—suggests
that the earliest primate lived about 81.5 million years ago, long before the
age of the oldest fossils uncovered by paleontologists.
'Naturally,' said Hedges, 'I am pleased with this result because it shows
agreement with our molecular-clock studies.'
Tavaré's team suggested that the earliest primates might have been small,
nocturnal creatures that inhabited tropical forests. But, assuming they did
exist that long ago, numerous forms could have evolved prior to the fateful
cataclysm that wiped out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago.
That event, presumably caused by a giant impact from outerspace, didn't wipe out
all primates living at the time, but probably spared relatively few of them,
Tavaré theorized. Those primates that survived would have subsequently evolved
into myriad species.
'Of course, this is all speculation,' Tavaré acknowledged. 'We have not found
any fossils in that bin yet.'
In fact, scientists may never know how these proposed lost kin of ours looked—or
be certain they existed at all—unless paleontologists someday recover fossilized

Black hole star mystery 'solved' !! ??
The researchers modelled how molecular clouds are sucked into black holes
Astronomers have shed light on how stars can form around a massive black hole,
defying conventional wisdom.
Scientists have long wondered how stars develop in such extreme conditions.
Molecular clouds - the normal birth places of stars - would be ripped apart by
the immense gravity, a team explains in Science magazine.
But the researchers say stars can form from elliptical discs - the relics of
giant gas clouds torn apart by encounters with black holes.
They made the discovery after developing computer simulations of giant gas
clouds being sucked into black holes like water spiralling down a plughole.
'These simulations show that young stars can form in the neighbourhood of
supermassive black holes as long as there is a reasonable supply of massive
clouds of gas from further out in the galaxy,' said co-author Ian Bonnell from
St Andrews University, UK.
Ripped apart
Their findings are in accordance with actual observations in our Milky Way
galaxy that indicate the presence of a massive black hole, surrounded by huge
stars with eccentric orbits.
The simulations, performed on a supercomputer - and taking over a year of
computing time - followed the evolution of two separate giant gas clouds up to
100,000 times the mass of the Sun, as they fell towards the supermassive black
hole.
The simulations show how the clouds are pulled apart by the immense
gravitational pull of the black hole.
The disrupted clouds form into spiral patterns as they orbit the black hole; the
spiral patterns remove motion energy from gas that passes close to the black
hole and transfers it to gas that passes further out.
This allows part of the cloud to be captured by the black hole while the rest
escapes.
In these conditions, only high mass stars are able to form and these stars
inherit the eccentric orbits from the elliptical disc.
These results match the two primary properties of the young stars in the centre
of our galaxy: their high mass and their eccentric orbits around the
supermassive black hole.
'That the stars currently present around the galaxy's supermassive black hole
have relatively short lifetimes of [about] 10 million years, which suggests that
this process is likely to be repetitive,' Professor Bonnell explained.
'Such a steady supply of stars into the vicinity of the black hole, and a diet
of gas directly accreted by the black hole, may help us understand the origin of
supermassive black holes in our and other galaxies in the Universe.'

Two men in the US state of Georgia say they have found the body of a Bigfoot,
the legendary ape-like creature that has been subject of decades of hoaxes.
'Bigfoot's' finders released pictures at a press conference

A photograph on the men's website shows what appears to be the body of a large,
hairy creature with an ape-like face.
Bigfoot experts reacted suspiciously to the men's claims.

The US Fish and Wildlife Service also said its officers were not taking the
claim seriously and would not investigate it.
At a news conference in Palo Alto, California, Mr Whitton and Mr Dyer said they
had found the body of a male Bigfoot with reddish hair, 'blackish-grey' eyes,
and human-like feet and hands while out hiking.
'I recognised it was unusual right away,' said Mr Whitton, a police officer.
'The first thing that pops into your head is that it's Bigfoot.'
They also said they saw three other live creatures while carrying the corpse
away.
'They were silent,' Mr Whitten added. The two men also brought what they said
were the results of DNA tests on the corpse's body tissue which were undertaken
by Curt Nelson, a biologist at the University of Minnesota.
According to Mr Nelson, one test showed human DNA, another was inconclusive,
while a third came back as the DNA of a possum, which he said could have been
from something the Bigfoot had eaten.
Bigfoot is a humanoid creature said to wander the wooded wilds of the Pacific
Northwest.
Stories of a giant ape roaming the forests of North America date back to before
European settlement. But despite occasional footprints and photographs, there

‘India should be proud of its ancient rock art’

Sydney, Aug 6 (IANS) Indian rock art needs more recognition globally and the
country itself has to realise it is a repository of much more than the Indus
Valley and Mughal periods, says an Australian expert. “Indian art is at least
200,000 years old, which is an educated guess and it could be much more. This is
of great cultural significance to India, and to the world,” rock art expert
Robert Bednarik told IANS.
He is the convener, president and editor of the International Federation of Rock
Art Organisations (IFRAO).
“It is time India asserted itself and took pride in the enormous history of the
Lower Palaeolithic culture, which has now been proved to be among the oldest in
the world, rivalling Africa, southwestern Europe and eastern Asia.”
“While Africa may be the cradle of the hominid evolution, southern Asia is more
likely to be the main theatre of initial development of modern human cognition,
self-awareness and technological competence,” says Bednarik.
He collaborates with the National Museum of Man in Bhopal and the Indira Gandhi
National Centre for the Arts in New Delhi.
The Early Indian Petroglyphs (EIP) Project is a joint venture by the Rock Art
Society of India (RASI) led by Giriraj Kumar and the Australian Rock Art
Research Association (AURA) led by Bednarik under the aegis of IFRAO.
The project is the first to attempt scientific dating of Indian rock art as well
as to provide a comprehensive chronological framework for the Palaeolithic
periods and reveals how advanced people were in Lower Palaeolithic times, using
art as a means of communication and expression.
The Bhimbetka complex of rock shelters was first discovered by V.S. Wakankar
near Bhopal in 1957 and declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in July 2003.
The EIP project has demonstrated that currently the oldest known art in the
world is in central India.
Certain archaic art traditions - the Auditorium Cave at Bhimbetka near Bhopal,
Daraki-Chattan cave near Bhanpura in Madhya Pradesh and Bajanibhat, a rock
shelter near Kotputli in Rajasthan - are several times as old as the oldest
previously dated rock art, that of the Upper Palaeolithic of France, dated to up
to about 32,000 years BP in Chauvet Cave.
(BP stands for ‘Before present’. ‘Present’, in this context, refers to 1950, the
introduction of carbon dating and the beginning of nuclear contamination in
carbon dating.)
“Indians probably don’t realise the significance of these ancient paintings.
They need to understand what it means in terms of national identity like the
French, who have the importance of art ingrained in their psyche, and preserve
it,” Bednarik said.
Bednarik called on the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to establish a
special section dealing specifically with prehistoric rock art and with the
Palaeolithic period.
“ASI has been focused on the Indus Valley and Mughal periods, but there has to
be an understanding in decision-making circles that India has much more that
that.”
The EIP Project, which has fostered, in-depth and long-term collaboration
between Indian and Australian experts, enjoys the backing and collaboration of
several research laboratories and scholars in both countries, besides
substantial support from the (ASI, the Indian Council of Historical Research and
the Australia-India Council in Canberra.
Bednarik feels it’s time for India to move away from its British-centric,
colonial model of archaeology to develop its own particular flavour and
approach.
“One way of doing this is by teaching rock art science as a specialised course
in universities,” he said.

British scientist hopes for 'yeti hair' breakthrough AFP - 1 hour 24 minutes ago
LONDON (AFP) - A British scientist said Monday he was anxiously awaiting the
results of DNA tests on hair claimed to be from a yeti after initial
examinations showed it had human and ape-like characteristics.
Ian Redmond, a biologist and expert in ape conservation, said the hairs found
in the Indian jungle resembled samples collected by the conqueror of Everest,
Sir Edmund Hillary, in the 1950s.'Under the microscope, they look slightly
human, slightly like an orang utang and slightly like the hairs brought back by
Edmund Hillary,' Redmond told AFP.'These hairs remain an enigma. They could be a
new species, but the DNA tests will hopefully tell us more.'The hairs were
brought back from India this year by a BBC journalist, Alastair Lawson, who
contacted Redmond and was put in touch with a team at Oxford Brookes University
in south central England.Lawson was given the hairs by yeti believer Dipu Marak,
who retrieved them them in dense jungle in the Meghalaya state of India after a
forester allegedly spotted the creature on three consecutive days in 2003.Marak
believes the hairs come from an ape-like Indian version of the fabled yeti, or
abominable snowman, called mande barung, which he believes stands about three
metres (10 feet) tall.Redmond and scientists from Oxford Brookes examined the
hairs on Thursday under powerful microscopes, comparing them with samples taken
from an Asiatic black bear, yaks, orang utangs and gorillas at Oxford's Natural
History Museum and even a hair from Redmond's beard.'The hairs are complete with
the cuticle, and between 3.3 centimetres (1.3 inches) and 4.4 centimetres long
and thick and wiry and curved,' Redmond said.'At one point we thought they
looked like they came from a wild boar. That was quite a tense moment, but when
we got a sample from the museum it turned out they were quite different.'Redmond
also contacted the English laboratory that analysed the hairs brought back by
Hillary in the 1950s from his Everest expedition and found they were similar in
appearance.While the microscope tests were inconclusive, the hairs are now
undergoing DNA tests in separate laboratories in Oxford and Cardiff.Redmond
admitted his excitement at a potential scientific breakthrough was tinged with
fear.'My concern is that if we do find something unusual, it will be from a very

for eclipse enthusiasts. On that date, the sun will be partially eclipsed over
an immense area that includes western and central Asia, parts of northern and
central Europe, all of Greenland and even a small slice of northeastern North
America. A total solar eclipse — the first in nearly two and a half years — will
be visible along a narrow track that will start over the Northwest Passage of
Canada, gives a glancing blow to northern Greenland, then shifts southeast
through Siberia and western Mongolia and before ending near the famed Silk Route
of China. The path of totality for this upcoming eclipse is never more than 157
miles (252 km) wide. Where it's visibleThe total eclipse begins at sunrise over
Northern Canada's Queen Maud Gulf, where the moon's umbra will first touch down
on the Earth, resulting in Canada's hosting its first total solar eclipse since
February 26, 1979. As the sun comes into view over the north-northeast horizon
its disk will become completely blocked by the moon. This is in the area of the
famous Northwest Passage, a sea route connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans
through the Arctic archipelago of Canada. The various islands of the archipelago
are separated from one another and the Canadian mainland by a series of Arctic
waterways collectively known as the Northwestern Passages. Politically, this
region belongs to Nunavut, the largest and newest of the territories of Canada;
it was separated officially from the vast Northwest Territories on April 1,
1999.Although the umbral shadow narrowly misses the towns of Cambridge Bay on
Victoria Island, and Resolute on Cornwallis Island, its northern edge just clips
the northernmost permanently inhabited place in the world: Canada's remote

a population of just 5. Here, totality will last 43 seconds.Crossing the open
Arctic, the southern half of the totality path slides across the many fjords of

Norwegian island group of Svalbard, while the northern edge of the umbra's path
just grazes Russia's Franz Josef Land island group, then cuts across the

first touches the Russian coast on the Yamal Peninsula. Not far inland, greatest
eclipse, producing 2 minutes 27 seconds of totality, is attained near the town
of Nadym (pop. ~46,000), just inland from the boot-shaped Gulf of
Obskaja.Spending part of your summer in Siberia may sound a bit more appealing
upon hearing that the central path passes almost directly over the city of
Novosibirsk, Russia's third most populous city (pop. ~1.4 million) where
totality begins at 10:44 UT and will last 2 minutes 18 seconds. The center of
the path will then follow the Mongolia-China border for several hundred
kilometers, with Olgij, Mongolia getting 1 min 36s of totality. Totality finally
whisks into north-central China, crossing the west end of the Great Wall before
leaving the Earth at a point northeast of the major city of Xi'an (pop. 3.9
million).The northern half of Maine as well as the Canadian Maritime Provinces
will experience a partial eclipse at sunrise. Eclipse expeditionA most unusual
attempt to rendezvous with the moon's shadow will be made by an Airbus A330-200
twin-engine long-range aircraft. Following a flight plan optimized specifically
for the purpose of viewing this eclipse, all of the many unusual requirements of
this flight have been evaluated and satisfied with arrangements by the air
charter company Deutsche Polarflug (AirEvents) which has previously operated
successful over-flights of the North Pole with this same aircraft.Glenn
Schneider, from the University of Arizona's Steward Observatory and a veteran of
26 total eclipses, has worked out the detailed formulation of the flight plan.
He is targeting a point from the high polar north, at approximately +83-degrees
latitude and about 440 nautical miles from the North Pole at an altitude of
37,000 feet above the Arctic Ocean.This will be a unique event in the annals of
solar eclipse-chasing since there are no records of any total solar eclipse
observations as far north as this. While total solar eclipses in the polar
regions are not rare, accessibility is very difficult. Until this juncture in
time (and technology) very high-latitude (north or south) total solar eclipses
have been elusive. The total solar eclipse of 23 November 2003 was the first in
history to have been observed from the Antarctic.Once again it needs repeating:
to look at the sun without proper eye protection is dangerous. Even if you are
in the path of the total eclipse you will need to protect your eyes during the
partial phases.

WORLD of DIGITALISATION and Robotic space explorations and effect of updating in
near future.
Dear Friends of computerisation, space, astronomy and ROBOTICS Science,
Recently speed of conversion from analogue to digital systems has reached to so
high and still is accelerating. But how long? Soon every thing will be
digitalised and we will see the whole digitalised world!
Before we go to the details of these matter let us see what’s happening to the
world of analogue.
After the 80’s all computers slowly started to become more or less in digital
systems. Though using most of the analogue system of data transfers and
displays. e.g. connectivity to the computers were analogue cable system and
display as well in analogue frequencies of hertz.
Though today also many computers still using this analogue networks and displays
on most of the computers, networks and TV and broadcasting channels’ including
satellites’.
But now every thing needs to be changed from analogue system to digital
including networking, TV and broadcasting, computers and displays. War time
analogue channel frequencies used for securities are freed to make further space
for Channels and digitalised system provided us space for thousands of channels.
Some might think computers work with the digital systems and how that can be
using analogue? Reason for that is network connectivity is still a analogue –
wired network. So data, speed and data corruption/ magnetic effects and loss of
data is possible.
All these Needs to update by fibre optic networking and even the display
connection is needed to be using DMI/HDMI caballing, else even though we use the
digital screen displays, it is not digital display. Needs a digital display
connectivity by such DMI/HDMI caballing.
Surprising to know that we use the DVD players and DVR writers/rewriters are
still in analogue format, though it writes digital data in digital format of the
computers. Using analogue laser system and writers have the tuners of analogue
systems. TV/VIDEOS/DVD writers are also having analogue tuners (they are now
called analogue DVD writers to differentiate the digital DVD writers as they are
coming in the markets) as broadcasting stations and satellites are of analogue
system. Though many use plasma digital TV but they are with analogue tuners, so
what we receive on TV is totally analogue format and only displays screens are
digital types. Actually TV broadcasting and networking digitalisation required
and for that we have some time to do so. Also local networks of fibro optic and
DMI/HDMI TV display connectivity with HDTV need to update and not HD ready TV.
In western world it started to change now and all analogue broadcasting charnels
will stop broadcasting by 2012 and complete switch over to digital system will
take place.
So what will happen to those analogue systems? Well will be sold to those who
are using still analogue system, in other word will be dumped to those countries
still in analogue times.
Not only that space exploration also changing as new satellites, telescopes,
transmitters, receivers broadcasting will be digitalises. Instead of analogue
telescopes a new system will send and receive data in digital formats e.g. of 32
bits instead frequencies of analogue hertz frequencies. And
storage/transfers/displays of data will be totally in digital. Though space
gives data in analogue frequencies and so that part will remain same as it is,
human can not change that (e.g. Radiation frequency used to observe universe.)
So all ANLOGUE systems are now cheap and to be discarded in the western world.
So be aware of the fact that what you receive is what’s worth. A TELESCOPE from
SPACE agency sold to you may be DUMPING site for them.
Not only that, those space explorations are also in human exploration modes.
Need to do be converted to MORE ROBOTIC types. Else some one may use some one as
“Guinea pig” and we loose our bright scientists for some one else. And it
happened in the past as well in Columbia space shuttle crash. We lost our bright
scientist and our bright scientist had no chance to do anything for our country.
And today even India is still deprived of any benefits from present astronaut
scientists. Wish such things will be not repeated in future.
Even though we utilise our all resources for safety with such a Capsule and
astronaut’s emergency landing, we should insist more Robotics and less human
guinea pigs from countries all around the world.It is very much shocking to know
that space shuttle Columbia is Lost for ever but not totally un-predictable, But
we could not save it at all. Every one knows that "the Dangers are out there in
the space" Wealways need to keep in mind that Beware of science "dangers of the
space" and do not be a guinea pigs as it happened this time. And we should use
more robotic mission and less human activity to avoid thisHuman loss - from any
country in the world.

As described in previous discussion (added to bottom of this email) all
civilisations are linked to IdoSaraswati civilisation. And spread all over the
world including UAE, Mesopotamia, Egypt nd far across Atlantic in Maya, Inca and
Machapichu.
Looking at the geometric scaled maps and studying their trigonometric relations
suggests that those all major civilisations are on the sine curve of the angle
of the Earth tilt. Eg sine curve of 23.5 degrees.

Origin of river is the oldest source of river water. if water in the river
Origin dries rest of the river also dries along the path. e.g. JAMNOTRI /
GANGOTRI etc. Even if the river dries at the distant end the underground water
flows if the origin of the river has the water source.
e.g. Gaggar Hakara of Saraswati river basin. If distant end of river water
becomes scarce or dries up the river bed at distant end of the river, the
civilisation dependent on water of the river will have to move upstream of the
river for the source of water.
Civilisations Move upstream to wards the origin of river for water as time
passed and as water become scarcely at distant end of the river. Civilisation on

A clump of frozen human hair from northwest Greenland suggests that the first
Eskimos in the New World did not descend from Native Americans as previously
thought but came directly from Asia, a new study says. Furthermore, these
pioneer settlers of the far north later died out and did not give rise to the
Inuit living in Greenland today.
The research is based on DNA analysis of ancient hair from a so-called
Paleo-Eskimo, which was found preserved in permafrost soil in the Disco Bay area
in the 1980s.
The hair, which belonged to a male who lived some 4,000 years ago, has provided
the first ever complete mitochondrial genome for an ancient human, according to
a team led by Tom Gilbert of the Center for Ancient Genetics at the University
of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mitochondrial DNA is passed down from mother to child and thus gives a genetic
marker to an individual's maternal ancestry.
In the ancient Greenland Eskimo's case, his hair revealed that his people came
from Siberia, the study found.
The Paleo-Eskimo's genetic relatives survive today only in small pockets in
north-eastern Siberia and the Aleutian Islands, which stretch across the Bering
Sea from Alaska to Russia, Gilbert said. (See a map of the islands.)
Challenging Theories
Previously, there were two main theories to explain the ancestry of the first
Eskimos in Alaska, Canada, and Greenland, Gilbert said.
The theories held that they either descended from Native Americans who colonized
North America at least 14,350 years ago, or they came from the same source area
in Siberia that gave rise to modern Eskimos, such as those who have lived in
Greenland for the past 1,000 years.
'Then there is a third idea that they were independent to both—and that's what
it turns out to be,' Gilbert said.
The new research, which appears tomorrow in the journal Science, suggests that
the original Paleo-Eskimos of the New World were replaced by later colonizers,
who spread eastward from Siberia.

Sun, but not in a circle. Earth's orbit is an ellipse, a lopsided curve with one
end closer to the Sun than the other. On July 4, 2008, our planet is at the
distant end--a point astronomers call 'aphelion.' This puts us farther from the
Sun than we are at any other time of year. Though we feel war in JUNE/JuLY (near
aphelion time 4July), Its very good that Earths APHELION comes in JULY so we are
farthest from the SUN. we feel less heat than that if we were close to the SUN.
But that will not remain the same for ever. As Earths exis tilt angle is also
changing and Earths axis also changes move to other direction in circle in about
25000 years. so when after after the 12500 yeras time the Earths Axis will be be
in opposit direction of the tilt, than thats is today. SO that will be winter in
northern hemeisphere in JULY time when EARTH's APHELION and much cooler winters
(SEASONS WILL CHANGE WINTERS IN JUNE/JULY after 12500 years). BUT summer will be
falling with the PERIHELION TIME in JANUARY (SEASONS WILL CHANGE SUMMER IN
DEC/JANUARY after 12500 years) time and VERY HARSH summer in NORTHERN HEMISPHERE
with PERIHELION TIME

Dear friends of Kutch, Science Astronomy and History,
According to legends : Lord Jagannath said to have expressed His desire to visit
His birthplace Gundicha Ghar once every year. According to others Subhadra
wanted to visit Dwarka, her parents home therefore, her two brothers Jagannath
and Balabhadra took her there on this day. According to Bhagavad Puran on this
day. Krishna and Balaram went to Mathura on the invitation of Kansa to
participate in the competition. The entire Ratha Yatra is a symbolic
humanisation of God. All rituals associated with the festival demonstrate an
attempt to bring the God down from His pedestal of glory to a more human level.
On the day of journey the three chariots the yellow coloured Nandighosa, blue
coloured Taladwaja and Deviratha are lined up in front of the temple and then
the deities are brought on to their respective Chariots. Once the king of Puri
the living symbol of Lord Jagannath sweeps the chariots with scented water and
golden broom, the pilgrims lined up with the rope pull the chariots on the
Badadanda to Gundicha Ghar.
Ratha Yatra commemorates when Krishna and Balaram went from Vrindavan to Mathura
in Akruras' Ratha, even though the Vaishnava deep meaning is the opposite. It's
the ecstatic mood when The Lord came back from Dwarka to Vrindavan. The cleansed
heart, as the dear song says: 'antara mandire jago jago Madhava Krishna Gopal !,
please arise in the temple of my heart'.
According to another legend, Subhadra wanted to visit Dwarika, her parent's
home, and her brothers Jagannatha and Balabhadra took her there on this day. The
Ratha Yatra is said to be a commemoration of that visit. According to a legend
in the Bhagavad Purana, Kansa sent his messenger to Gokul to ask Krishna to
visit Mathura and participate in the great wrestling competition. It is believed
that it was on this day that Krishna and Balarama went to Mathura to participate
in the competition.
Another says, Lord Krishna vanquished evil Kansa and gave the devotees Darshan
in Mathura, in a chariot with his brother Balaram.
In Dwarka, the victory over evil is celebrated with devotees showing the sister
Shubadra the city in a chariot alongwith Krishna and Balaram.
Once in Dwarka, Lord Krishna's eight queens requested mother Rohini to narrate
the divine episodes of Lord Krishna with the Gopis while he was in Vraj. For a
while Rohini did not agree. Finally, after a lot of insistence she gave away.
However, considering it unbecoming of Subhadra to hear such episodes (Leela),
she sent her to guard the palace doorway. Yet the Vrajkatha soon absorbed
Subhadra. Soon, Lord Shri Krishna and Balaram arrived at the doorway. With arms
wide apart, she stood between the two, preventing them from entering. However,
from where they stood, Rohini's katha soon engrossed them all! Just then sage
Narad arrived. Seeing the siblings standing together like murtis, he humbly
prayed, 'May the three of you grant darshan in this manner forever.' The Lord
granted the boon. And the three eternally reside in the Jagannath Mandir in
Puri.There's also an interesting story of Krishna becoming Sarthi of Arjun's
Chariot in Mahabharata and giving him Life's advice.
A story which has been passed on from mouth to mouth, concerns about what
happened after the cremation of Lord Krishna's mortal body...When Shri Krishna
was being cremated in Dwarika, Balaram overcame with grief and dashed into the
ocean with Shri Krishna's partially cremated body. Subhadra too, followed both
the brothers. At the same time, on the eastern shore of India, King Indradyumna
of Jagannath Puri had a dream that the Lord's body would float up to the shores
of Puri. He should build a huge Temple in the city and make the wooden idols
(murtis) of Shri Krishna, Balaram and Subhadra. The bones (asthi) of Lord
Krishna's body should be placed in the hollow in the back of the murti. The
dream came true. He found the splinters of bone (asthi) and took them. But the
question was who would carve the murtis. It is said that the architect of the
gods, Vishwakarma arrived as an old carpenter. He said that while carving the
murtis nobody should disturb him and if anybody did, he would stop work and
leave. A few months passed by. One day, being impatient, Indradyumna opened the
door of Vishwakarma's room, who vanished instantly as he had said. Despite the
incomplete murtis, the king consecrated them, placing the holy cinders of Lord
Krishna in the hollow of the murti and installed them in the Temple. Every year
a grand procession is carried out with the murtis of Lord Krishna, Balaram and
Subhadra in three gigantic floats. The floats are pulled by devotees from
Janakpur to the mandir in Jagannath Puri. The murtis are changed every twelve
years, the new ones being incomplete too.The Jagannath Mandir in Jagannath Puri
is one of the four most sacred mandirs in the four directions of the Indian sub
- continent. The other three are: Rameshwar in South, Dwarka in West and
Badrinath in the Himalayas. Probably the mandir in Jagannath Puri is the only
mandir in the world housing murtis of three deities who are siblings - Lord
Krishna, Balaram and Subhadra.
The statues of Krishna, Balaram and Subhadra are found in Jagannathpuri in
Orissa which is worshipped with great fervour during Rathyatra. The Jagannath
Mandir in Jagannath Puri is one of the four most sacred mandirs in the four

A clump of frozen human hair from northwest Greenland suggests that the first
Eskimos in the New World did not descend from Native Americans as previously
thought but came directly from Asia, a new study says. Furthermore, these
pioneer settlers of the far north later died out and did not give rise to the
Inuit living in Greenland today.
The research is based on DNA analysis of ancient hair from a so-called
Paleo-Eskimo, which was found preserved in permafrost soil in the Disco Bay area
in the 1980s.
The hair, which belonged to a male who lived some 4,000 years ago, has provided
the first ever complete mitochondrial genome for an ancient human, according to
a team led by Tom Gilbert of the Center for Ancient Genetics at the University
of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mitochondrial DNA is passed down from mother to child and thus gives a genetic
marker to an individual's maternal ancestry.
In the ancient Greenland Eskimo's case, his hair revealed that his people came
from Siberia, the study found.
The Paleo-Eskimo's genetic relatives survive today only in small pockets in
north-eastern Siberia and the Aleutian Islands, which stretch across the Bering
Sea from Alaska to Russia, Gilbert said. (See a map of the islands.)
Challenging Theories
Previously, there were two main theories to explain the ancestry of the first
Eskimos in Alaska, Canada, and Greenland, Gilbert said.
The theories held that they either descended from Native Americans who colonized
North America at least 14,350 years ago, or they came from the same source area
in Siberia that gave rise to modern Eskimos, such as those who have lived in
Greenland for the past 1,000 years.
'Then there is a third idea that they were independent to both—and that's what
it turns out to be,' Gilbert said.
The new research, which appears tomorrow in the journal Science, suggests that
the original Paleo-Eskimos of the New World were replaced by later colonizers,
who spread eastward from Siberia.

UFO spotted by police helicopter

Dear EDITORIALS, Friends of the Science and ASTRONOMY.
A police helicopter crew has spotted what is described as an unusual aircraft in
the Vale of Glamorgan. The helicopter was above St Athan, which is home to an
RAF base and close to Cardiff International Airport. But three-man crew could
not capture any images before the object vanished over the Bristol Channel on 8
June. South Wales Police said the helicopter did not give chase and described
the crew as very experienced. The sighting has been reported for investigation.
The police Eurocopter, an EC135T21, was hovering in the sky at 1240BST above the
base, waiting to land.
A police spokesperson said: "The crew are very experienced and responded in a
professional manner in relation to what they saw.
"In today's skies, there are a wide variety of aircrafts which come in a range
of different shapes and sizes and in all probability, this sighting has just
confirmed that one of these was in the area at the relevant time," the
spokesperson added.
A Ministry of Defence spokesperson said it had heard nothing about the incident.
"But it is certainly not advisable for police helicopters to go chasing what
they think are UFOs," the spokesperson said.
Cardiff International Airport said air traffic control provided a service to the
police helicopter to ensure it had appropriate air space, including allowing it
space to return to RAF St Athan to refuel.
Author Richard Foxhall who lives in the Nantlle Valley, Gwynedd has written a
book about his experience of seeing a UFO in 1996.
Mr Foxhall has called for the report into the Vale of Glamorgan sighting to be
made open to the public.

"The helicopter crew, who are experienced, saw something which was in the air
space around Cardiff International Airport and St Athan's air base.
"It this was Heathrow - there would be an inquiry," he added.
Mr Foxhall said he saw a low flying object over Tal-y-Mignedd in Snowdonia over
the May bank holiday weekend, 12 years ago.
He was returning home at around 2030 and saw an object similar to "nothing he
had seen before".
Mr Foxhall contacted all local airports, RAF Valley and checked with the
authorities and found no flight records had been logged.

A rare type of meteorite that could hold clues to the birth of our Solar System
has been bought by London's Natural History Museum. The Ivuna meteorite,
obtained from a US private collection, has the same chemical make-up from which
the Solar System formed 4.5 billion years ago. It landed in Tanzania in 1938 as
one 705g stone, since split into samples.
Pieces from the UK sample, the largest in any public collection in the world,
will be removed for study.
Most Ivuna samples are held in private collections, or by the Tanzanian
government.
It's a particularly important specimen to science because it's been so well
preserved
Dr Caroline Smith,Natural History Museum Ivuna's chemical make-up, which matches
the Sun, is extremely rare - just nine of the 35,000 known meteorites, or 0.03%,
have this solar composition.
Dr Caroline Smith, meteorite curator at the Natural History Museum (NHM), told
BBC News: "These types of meteorite are very susceptible to alteration on Earth.
Changes in humidity, for example, can change their composition.
"But this meteorite is important as it fell relatively recently and has been
kept under nitrogen in a sealed environment for the last two or three decades.
"It's a particularly important specimen to science because it's been so well
preserved. We're all incredibly excited about it because it's so pristine."
Monica Grady, professor of planetary sciences at the Open University in Milton
Keynes, commented: "This is fantastic for the UK's meteorite experts. This
material represents the crumbs from the foundation of the Solar System. It's an
unbelievable opportunity to study it in close-up.
"The museum has been very bold in acquiring it."
One question that Ivuna could help answer is how the chemical building blocks
for life came to Earth.
Important components of so-called pre-genetic material, the amino acids
b-alanine and glycine, were found in Ivuna in a 2001 study.
Last week, scientists at Imperial College London confirmed that a meteorite
called Murchison contained extra-terrestrial molecules that were the precursors
to DNA and RNA.
In addition to being used for research, Ivuna will be a star specimen in a new
meteorites gallery, which the NHM is planning for the near future.
"The plan is to take the meteorite to Nasa's Johnson Space Center in Houston,

Recently released figures of the Birth rate are very surprising. Though
government has passed laws to increase female children by not allowing the sex
scanning of foetus and avoid female foetus abortions. The birth rate has
remained the same.
Also both Rural (5.11% less Female births) and Town (4.32% less Female births)
has similar trends as well. So people of Town and Villages are getting same
facility to know the foetus sex and illegal abortions.
But town has some understanding and awareness of the equality issue.
Overall TOTAL IN KUTCH (4.68% less Female births) every year will lead to
reduce female population and resulting disproportional ratio. At the end of
century may be less than half population of females to compare to males
population!!

Today is 20 June and tomorrow on 21 June - at local time 12 PM (which is IST
12:52 for BHUJ) - sun will be over head on tropic of cancer - need to take
picture of RAMKUND steps in PLUM line direction to show if the structures has
any shadow at that time in any direction? (for MODHERA or at the KONARK temples
at the their LOCAL NOON time) those who wants to do the experiments on the
tropic of cancer to find out where is the real tropic of cancer and also to
measure the size of the Earth.

Hints: as Calculation of AU with the help of Venus transit we need to measure
Earth First in reality rather than just taking it granted. As on the summer
solstice day The sun is on the 23.45 N, (Not the 23.5 N - which makes about 3km
difference in distance) we need to go there and find actual place on 23.45 on
the day at local time 12:00 NOON. And that will be real practical aspect rather
than just taken granted Last discussion time.

Sub: How long will it take and how far we need to go to measure the Earth?
Similar to the experiment below, But all need to do is use local time. When sun
comes overhead (No east or No West). And select two place A & B of Maximum
possible distance apart NORTH and SOUTH and do the measurement same time at both
place as follows.
We can use one control place “S” in South or “N” in North about 50 Km away to
correct any minor errors from short distance “few KM” experiment.
Similar Example of Latitudes longitude finding at the Local time. – for tropic
of cancer @ Local time you need to find the correct time when sun is on the head
with no shadows East or West. and need to be there at LOCAL time of 12:00 NOON
which may be 12 + MM depending on the place where you go – Longitudes.
Experiments done at the Place A & B (NEAR 23.45 N) on 12 Noon IST will have
shadow towards East/West. Depending your positions in India (West/ East of 82.5
E Longitude). And so accordingly you will get shadow East/West. Measure the
length of that of shadow of 3 Meter pole OR a PLUM LINE shadow and find the
Tangent = shadow/ pole - will give u the angle. Say example : shadow = 600 mm at
that time. So 600/3000= 0.2
so anti tangent is an angle of 11.30' degree. so you are 11..30' West/East of
IST line means IF shadow is East than you are WEST and at 82.30' - 11.30' = 71
degree East longitude.
(If shadow is in the EAST than - you are IN the East of the TIME LINE so you
need to Start an experiment a DAY BEFORE (20 JUNE) and repeated on 21st JUNE
before 2 hours before 12 IST and preferably to start more than an hour before to
set up all arrangements)
Now you find exact time when to take results of the experiment. when there is no
shadow to the EAST/WEST - at 12Noon + (11.3o' x4) = @12 + 46 PM Here you have 46
minutes to do that. To take the next accurate place readings. When there is no
shadow in East/West but to the NORTH/SOUTH ONLY (depending your position North
or south of the SUN in India or in the world) at that place at that time. GPS
may be in correct to show that but not the SUN.
Now measure the length of the shadow in accuracy of mm fractions. @ places “A”,
“B” & “N” or “S”@ the same time. If the Difference of the length of shadow is
1mm at places “A” and “B” same time at Local time when sun comes over head –(NO
shadow on East or West) the calculations will be simplified as follows. Anti tan
1/3000 gives the angle made by shadow on the Earth surface gives the angle = at
the centre of the Earth by the distance of the place “A”to “B” on the surface of
the EARTH. Eg about 1.145’ (1+’) and find the Circumference of the Earth = 360
degree. (around 40000 Km)
Similarly Controlled reading at “N” / “S” will help you to find accuracy eg long
distance measure will give more accuracy than 2KM and correct your readings from
that 50 KM distance experiments. (that will give you about 23.5 mm shadow
Difference than that of “A” and 23.5+1 mm than that of “B”) so calculate the
anti tangent and angle and circumference of the Earth and Diameter or R for the
Earth.
TO SIMPLIFY MORE and Easy work, Let One of the 'N' OR 'S' be Either Delhi Jantar
Mantar or JAIPUR - JANTAR MANTAR.
We are very rich in our Astronomy engineering - particularly JAIPUR is the

Astronomers find batch of 'super-Earths'
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - European researchers said on Monday they discovered a
batch of three 'super-Earths' orbiting a nearby star, and two other solar
systems with small planets as well. They said their findings, presented at a
conference in France, suggest that Earth-like planets may be very common.'Does
every single star harbour planets and, if yes, how many?' asked Michel Mayor of
Switzerland's Geneva Observatory. 'We may not yet know the answer but we are
making huge progress towards it,' Mayor said in a statement.The trio of planets
orbit a star slightly less massive than our Sun, 42 light-years away towards the
southern Doradus and Pictor constellations. A light-year is the distance light
can travel in one year at a speed of 186,000 miles (300,000 km) a second, or
about 6 trillion miles (9.5 trillion km).The planets are bigger than Earth --
one is 4.2 times the mass, one is 6.7 times and the third is 9.4 times.They
orbit their star at extremely rapid speeds -- one whizzing around in just four
days, compared with Earth's 365 days, one taking 10 days and the slowest taking
20 days.Mayor and colleagues used the High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet
Searcher or HARPS, a telescope at La Silla observatory in Chile, to find the
planets.More than 270 so-called exoplanets have been found. Most are giants,
resembling Jupiter or Saturn. Smaller planets closer to the size of Earth are
far more difficult to spot.None can be imaged directly at such distances but can
be spotted indirectly using radio waves or, in the case of HARPS, spectrographic
measurements. As a planet orbits, it makes the star wobble very slightly and
this can be measured.'With the advent of much more precise instruments such as
the HARPS spectrograph ... we can now discover smaller planets, with masses
between 2 and 10 times the Earth's mass,' said Stephane Udry, who also worked on
the study.The team also said they found a planet 7.5 times the mass of Earth
orbiting the star HD 181433 in 9.5 days. This star also has a Jupiter-like
planet that orbits every three years.Another solar system has a planet 22 times
the mass of Earth, orbiting every four days, and a Saturn-like planet with a
3-year period.'Clearly these planets are only the tip of the iceberg,' said
Mayor.'The analysis of all the stars studied with HARPS shows that about one
third of all solar-like stars have either super-Earth or Neptune-like planets
with orbital periods shorter than 50 days.'

Last year visit to KANMER in JULY 1st 2007 showed very interesting as well as
disappointing findings. As the excavations showed very intersting site but
disappontment of loosing some of the important findings eg human skull is
missing between the timing of the Excavations and the last visit in July 1st
2007, from the excavation site.
GANDHINAGAR: The state department of archaeology, Kyoto University of Japan and
Rajasthan Vidyapith have agreed to undertake a joint research work on Harappan
culture with special reference to language, script and economy as there is a
great resemblance between the 4000-year-old civilisation and that of
pictographic script of Japan and China. The archeology department has identified
a Harappan site at Kanmer near Rapar in Kutch district where the joint research
team of the three institutions would start studying the various aspects of their
subject on the basis of remnants to be excavated there. 'This is the second
major joint research work on Harappan culture and civilisation next to Dholavira
which was carried out by the Archeology Survey of India in ‘90s,' informed Y S
Rawat, director of the state department of archeology. The state government has
already received consent from Kyoto University and Rajasthan Vidyapith, having
its headquarters in Udaipur, and the MoU for the joint research project would be
inked soon. 'The joint venture is being undertaken after the researchers in
Japan showed great interest in studying the ancient culture and wanted to find
out whether there was a resemblance in language script and trade and business
activities of Harappan script and economy with that of Japan and China,'
observed Rawat who has worked with top historian S R Rao on his Dwarka project.
Centre gives ok on Kamner project, experts ready to dig in Archaeological Dept
ties up with Kyoto University, work at the site to begin in a monthCENTRE
go-ahead received, the State will witness excavation at yet another Harappan
site in Kutch. The ambitious project — clearance for which comes after an
year-long wait — sees the tie-up between the State Archaeological Department and
Japan’s Kyoto University . And, in a month, work will be in full swing at the
site near Kanmer village of Rapar taluka, according to official sources.
Principal Secretary (Youth and Cultural Activities) V N Maira says that a
proposal seeking Centre’s clearance for excavation had been sent about a year
ago, and “we are happy that all the Union ministries concerned including
Culture, Human Resource Development, External Affairs amd Home, have cleared it,
paving the way for excavation at the site”. A team of experts from Kyoto
University had visited the site twice late last year and early this year. With
the Japanese University agreeing to fund the project, Kanmer will be the third
Harappan site to be dug up in Kutch — with Dholavira and Surkotada being the two
other major sites already excavated. ‘Excavation will begin at the earliest,
most probably some time next month,’’ says Maira , adding the ASI had first
discovered the site in 1985. Preliminary reports suggest that the layout of the
settlement is similar to that at the Surkotada site, he said. And like
Surkotada, Kanmer — 30 km south-west of Surkotada — is also well fortified, he
said.
The site was first discussed with Kyoto University experts by Dr Jeevan
Kharakwal, an assistant professor of archaeology at the J R N Rajasthan
Vidyapith, Udaipur, which will also lend its support to the project. Kharakwal
recently visited Japan to discuss the project details with his Japanese
counterparts. Japanese team wants to get Kanmer project done purely from the
linguistic point of view, said a senior official in the State Archaeological
Department.
They are curious to decipher the script of the Harappan civilisation. An report
suggests that Kanmer, Dholavira and Surkotada might have been located on the
trade route between Sindh and Saurashtra. Besides, Kanmer might have been an
important administrative and commercial centre controlling the Harappan
enterprises across the Rann in Saurashtra as well as the central
Gujarat mainland, the study states. Well developed Harappan town excavated in
Gujarat Udaipur, Mar 14: A well-developed Harappan town has been found in Rapar
area of Gujarat's Kachch district during excavation by Gujarat Archeological
Department and a team of research scholars from various universities.
In the excavation, structure of a strong outer wall, some 9.5 metre high,
foodgrains like rice, wheat, barley, lentils etc were recovered from some 30
trenches, director of excavation team Jeevan Singh Kharakwal said here today.
'The first phase excavation indicates a well developed and mature Harappan
town,' he said. The trenches also revealed some sections of streets or lanes
suggesting the kind of town that might have existed.
Kharakwal said that deposits were found at various depth of 10 to 12 metres
indicating four different cultural stages. During excavation, the team also
discovered microliths weighing around 134 grams made of steatite (soapstones)
and pottery belonging to mature Harappan and late Harappan period.
A team of research scholars from institute of Rajasthan studies, Janardan Rai
Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University in collaboration with Gujarat
Archaeological Department started the first phase excavation from January this
year, which ended last Friday, in a small village Kanmer on state highway no 15
near Adesar, Radhaupur in Gujarat.
'The excavation work was part of a three year project,' Dr Kharakal said. During
excavation, experts like Dr Thakkar from Indian Space Research Organisation and
Dr Alok Tripathi from Archaeological Survey of India, visited the site. He said
a team from Japan is likely to join them in near future.

has 10 Cycle
Sani - Saturn has timing 30 years= 2x3x5 means in 180 years SATURN
has 6 Cycles.
Guru - Jupiter has timing 12 years= 2x3x2x means in 180 years SATURN
has 15 Cycles
Mangal - MARS has timing of 1.88years means in 180 years SATURN has

Sukra - Venus has timing of 224 days means in 180 years VENUS has 293

Calculating the L SA = Smallest Common Multiple of those numbers 2x2x3

Means at this interval all those planets are in same position as before
180 years.
So Horoscope do not see the difference of those of horoscopes of 180
years apart and human do not survive beyond this time. Though data are
available up to 100 years of PANCHANGs but not recorded before 180
years ago. But oldest observatory do have those records recorded at
that time eg. JAIPUR Observatory.
NASA did not have that before so they just put calculated figures and
not the real DATA fact sheet. Which may be in accurate /errors of
calculations as those are not the actual measured and recorded results?

2) Now according to PURANas let us check those with this astronomical
data
MahaYUGA is said timing of 4 320000 years means it has 24000 cycles of
180 years
KALIYUGA is said timing of 4 32000 years means it has 2400 cycles of
180 years
A) Present Time of Kaliyuga has passed 5116 years means at least 28
cycles of 180 years has passed.
B) DWAPARYUGA is said timing of 8 64000 years means it has 4800 cycles
of 180 years
C) Rama Rajya said to be of 10 000 years before DWAPARYUGA means at
least 55 cycle of 180 years has passed during RAM RAJYA.
RAMA timings can be calculated as A) + B) + C) = DWAPARYUGA is said
timing of 8 64000 years + Kaliyuga has passed 5116 + 10 000 Rama. = 8
79116 years is about 4883 cycles of 180 years (4800 cycles + 55 cycle +
28 cycles)
So we see those planetary events before 879116 years as it has happened
some where in series of 180X time line. eg 180 x 40 = 7200 years ago.
But that is not the fact but the cyclic series phenomenon of time.
Some believe that RAMA birth time was 7100 to7200 (180 x 40 cycles)
years ago as said in RAMAYANA and PURANs. It may be in multiples of
those numbers in Series.
But when said that those information are in PURANs and in VALMIK
RAMAYANA one can not ignore the Time scale of YUGA and MAHAYUGA said
in PURANs and VEDAs.
3) RAMA JANMA HOROSCOPES as said in Valmik RAMAYAN – appropriate
Original Ramayan pages attached scanned and attaché for each

Rama was born on CHAITRA SUD NAVMI at 12 PM AYODYA /KASI / VARANASI
time in KARK LAGANAM rising at horizon.
BHARAT was Born Next morning but before sun rise at about 4AM as MEEN
Lagnam was rising means at least. 8 Rashi has moved to take 16 hours
difference. BUT as sun was risen it was RAMNAVMI as well. But not the
DASMI.
LAXMAN and SHATRUGHNA was born next NOON again at 12 PM when KARK
lagnam was rising at horizon. Means was DASMI but some says that was an
EKADASHi in that case DASMI was KSHAYA tithi and EKASDASHI followed By
RAMA NAVAMI.
Geographically Chaitra SUD 9 comes near End of MARCH and in April in
the next year after the EXTRA-ADHIK MONTH (PURSHOTTAM MONTH) year.
Which is near EQUINOX timings. So day is about 12 hours and Sun
rise/Sunset around the 6:30 in AYODHYA/VARANASI /KASI.
Birth Time of Bharat is in NEXT early morning 4AM BUT as Sun rise is
about 6:30 the tithi remained RAMNAVMI /CHAITRA SUD NAVMI..
LAXMAN and SHTRUGHNA were born after another 8 hours as when again KARK
lagnam was rising at horizon. Which means that NEXT day 12 PM which is
CHAITRA SUD DASHAMI. BUT many SHASHTRIES AND KATHAKARS says that was
CHATRA SUD EKADASHI according to their belief, though it has not been
said in RAMAYAN. In that case DASHMI was a LAPSED and KSHAY TITHI and
RAMNAVMI (CHAITRA SUD NAVMI) followed by EKADASHI (CHAITRA SUD
EKADASHI) according to RAMAYAN
4) ALSO an astronomical observations SUN and MOON during near time of
Equinox and RAMNAVMI. Are as follows
A) MOON: Moon near Earth 20 March 2007 and as higher gravitation and
Kepler's Laws Object has higher speed when close to centre – MOON
has moved 15.1 degree in 24 hours.
B) And when Moon was FARTHEST from the Earth on 3 APRIL 2007 LOWER
gravitation and Kepler's Laws Object has SLOWER speed when further away
from the centre – MOON has moved 12 degree in 24 hours
AVERAGE speed of the MOON remains about 13 Degree and when the moon
remains at MEAN distance from the Earth in the middle timings of A (20
March 2007) and B (3 APRIL 2007).
ALSO MOON Month is about 28 and a half day but as LUNAR distance is
variable the duration of the LUNAR month is also variable. In past
time LUNAR month was 30 days as said in PURANs. So can you calculate
the LUNAR distance for the 30 days Lunar MONTH ! also when it was
possible and when again as moon is slowly going away from the Earth.
C) EARTH near SUN on 4 Jan 2007 and as higher gravitation and
Kepler's Laws EARTH has higher speed when close to SUN and so Earth
moved 1.01'11" > 1 degree in 24 hours.
D) And when EARTH was FARTHEST from the SUN on 8 JULY 2007 LOWER
gravitation and Kepler's Laws EARTH has SLOWER speed when further away
from the SUN – EARTH has moved 0.57' 11" < 1 degree in 24
hours.
AVERAGE speed of the EARTH remains about <1 Degree and when the Earth
remains at MEAN AU distance from the SUN at present time in the timings
of EQUNOX days. 20/21 MARCH and 22/23 September.
ALSO EARTH YEAR is about 365.25 days but as AU distance is variable
the duration of the EARTH's Year is also variable. In past time
EARTH's Year was 360 days as said in PURANs. So can you calculate
the AU – SUN EARTH distance for the 360 days EARTH's Year! also
when it was possible and when again the EARTH is closing to the SUN to
make Year of 360 days?
Hints What should be MEAN AU distance to make the Earth speed of 1
degree around the sun? use Capler's calculations. And reduce the AU
by some 1% and calculate and try again to find out accurate AU distance
for EARTH year of 360 days.

Subject: Ancient civilisation of KUTCh and its relation to all ancient
civilisation all over the world

Dear Friends of Science History and Astronomy.
Origin of river is the oldest source of river water. if water in the
river Origin dries rest of the river also dries along the path. e.g.
JAMNOTRI / GANGOTRI etc. Even if the river dries at the distant end the
underground water flows if the origin of the river has the water source.
e.g. Gaggar Hakara of Saraswati river basin. If distant end of river
water becomes scarce or dries up the river bed at distant end of the
river, the civilisation dependent on water of the river will have to
move upstream of the river for the source of water.
Civilisations Move upstream to wards the origin of river for water as
time passed and as water become scarcely at distant end of the river.
Civilisation on the river banks of the river SARASWATI and civilisations
in the Kutch moved upstream to the riverbed where water source was
available. Similarly to the river basin of the Indus as river Indus and
river Saraswati has common mouth in the present RANN of the KUTCH when
it was in the form of the lake.
Also people of the civilisation moved to the other region linked with
water and the sea. To the Middle east and Mesopotamia, (See Dholavira
film) map available on request also Indus Decoding is available for

Recently No one Visited MARUDA TAKKAR since the area is under the border
safety control, but 15000 years older than that of Dholavira !! Ancient
port - map available is the world's oldest port in the RANN of the Kutch

Prehistoric Hair Suggests 1st Eskimos Came From Asia

A clump of frozen human hair from northwest Greenland suggests that the
first Eskimos in the New World did not descend from Native Americans as
previously thought but came directly from Asia, a new study says.
Furthermore, these pioneer settlers of the far north later died out and
did not give rise to the Inuit living in Greenland today.
The research is based on DNA analysis of ancient hair from a so-called
Paleo-Eskimo, which was found preserved in permafrost soil in the Disco
Bay area in the 1980s.
The hair, which belonged to a male who lived some 4,000 years ago, has
provided the first ever complete mitochondrial genome for an ancient
human, according to a team led by Tom Gilbert of the Center for Ancient
Genetics at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mitochondrial DNA is passed down from mother to child and thus gives a
genetic marker to an individual's maternal ancestry.
In the ancient Greenland Eskimo's case, his hair revealed that his
people came from Siberia, the study found.
The Paleo-Eskimo's genetic relatives survive today only in small pockets
in north-eastern Siberia and the Aleutian Islands, which stretch across
the Bering Sea from Alaska to Russia, Gilbert said. (See a map of the
islands.)
Challenging Theories
Previously, there were two main theories to explain the ancestry of the
first Eskimos in Alaska, Canada, and Greenland, Gilbert said.
The theories held that they either descended from Native Americans who
colonized North America at least 14,350 years ago, or they came from the
same source area in Siberia that gave rise to modern Eskimos, such as
those who have lived in Greenland for the past 1,000 years.
'Then there is a third idea that they were independent to both—and
that's what it turns out to be,' Gilbert said.
The new research, which appears tomorrow in the journal Science,
suggests that the original Paleo-Eskimos of the New World were replaced
by later colonizers, who spread eastward from Siberia.
