Re: [The Merchant Navy Club] wanna know....

Sundar and Suraj, I think I am being caught up in a private exchange of
e-mails between you two. My involvement in the British Merchant Navy was as
a Deck Boy in 1949 who trained on the T.S. Vindicatrix, which was part of
the Gravesend Sea School, and was used between the years of 1939 and 1966 to
train boys entrants in the Deck and Catering grades. I am now the Site
Bosun of our <A HREF="www.vindicatrix-hq.fsnet.co.uk">TSVA Website</A> The
school has long since closed and most of the
crew jobs in our Merchant Navy have now been lost to mariners from other
countries. If you read out Guest Book on our site, you will soon realise
that most of us have long given up the sea and are now retired.
Regards, Robin Hurst[Unable to display image]
