<br><br><br>Cheat mode<br><br>At the credits screen, quickly press
Right, Left, Up, Down, Circle, Square<br>to enable cheat
mode and unlock all cars and tracks in quick race
mode. If<br>you entered the code correctly, you will
hear a sound. Enter the code again<br>to disable
it.<br><br>Modern era<br><br>Enable cheat mode, select evolution
mode, then enter "BEEM" as a name.<br><br>Golden
era<br><br>Enable cheat mode, select evolution mode, then enter
"BEEG" as a name.<br><br>Mission 6 and GT2
car<br><br>Enable cheat mode, then enter "PALF" as a
name.<br><br>Mission 9 and 917K car<br><br>Enable cheat mode, then
enter "PALI" as a name.<br><br>Bonus cars<br><br>Do
well in the various Test Driver modes to unlock bonus
cars, such as the<br>GT2 race car and the 917 race car
that can be used in regular race mode.<br><br>Game
music<br><br>Play track two and higher of the game disc in an audio
CD player to hear<br>music from the game.<br><br>USA
track shortcut<br><br>While driving in evolution mode,
go to Home and select your car. Go to<br>the USA
track and look for an orange and yellow barrier
sticking up<br>next to a small building, which is next to
a small parking area. When<br>you drive into the
parking area, keep driving straight through the<br>trees.
There are two barriers, take the one at the end of the
S-Turn<br>street. To find it on the other side, look for a
T-intersection with a<br>street light and a fence. In between
the fences are a few bushes and a<br>small tree.
Enter there to come out the other side.<br><br>France
track shortcut<br><br>While driving in evolution mode,
go to Home and select your car. Go to<br>the France
track and look for a parking area with a large
catering<br>truck. Drive in front of the truck to take the shortcut.
To find the<br>other side, look for an area where
the road is wider than normal with<br>two small white
barriers. There will also be two small trees and
one<br>large tree and some bushes at this
location.<br><br>Scotland track shortcut<br><br>While driving in evolution
mode, go to Home and select your car. Go to<br>the
Scotland track and look for an area where the road is
wider than<br>normal between 2 buildings. It is a brick
road, and usually has a<br>police car parked there. To
find the other side, look for an area with<br>a wide
open road and three large cranes. The shortcut will be
between<br>the buildings, just before or after the small
lighthouse.<br><br> It is the same story with these. some may not
work. If you have any other ones,, please help yourself

Need for Speed: High Stakes<br><br><br>NOTE:
Enter these codes at the "USER NAME" screen. If you
enter one of these codes you will not be able to save
your game. <br><br>Enlish Speaking Police:<br>Player
name= Bigoven <br><br>Titan Car:<br>Player name= Hotrod
<br><br>Phantom Car:<br>Player name= Flash <br><br>Police
Helicopter:<br>Player name= Whirly <br>The helicopter will be in "Test
Drive Mode". <br><br>GET THE DASHBOARD VIEW:<br>AFTER
YOU SELECTHE TRACK AND ARE IN THE CAR SELECT SCREEN,
WHEN YOU HIT RACE ---- PRESS UP + TRIANGLE + X ----
HOLD THESE BUTTONS THROUGH THE LOADING SCREEN, AND
WHEN THE SCENERY APPEARS, RELEASE THEM, NOW WHEN YOU
GO TO THE IN CAR VIEW, THERE WILL BE A DASHBOARD
THERE. <br><br>TURBO MODE:<br>To have Turbo Mode, you
must have done the Dashboard cheat. Once you've
accomplished getting the dashes, quit the race. Do all the
steps again to get the dash. This time when you get
into the car, your should see a dashboard but
something more. Once the race starts, hit accel and then
press your horn (UP) and then your car should go turbo
(twice as fast as it did before), once you release the
up button the turbo is off, you can always press up
for turbo, it is unlimited and it stays in the game
in any mode until you turn it off. <br><br>Easier
Tickets:<br>Enter Hot Pursuit Mode and choose a cop car. When the
game starts hold L1 and press UP to turn off the
sirens. The person speeding will slow down. When you've
cought up to him turn your sirens back on (L1 and UP)
pull him over. <br><br>Easy Money:<br>After buying
your first car, go to two player mode and select High
Stakes. It will ask if you want to save, say YES. After
accessing memory slot one, it will ask for memory card two.
Take the card out of slot one and put it in slot two.
The game will think it's a different card and will
duplicate your car. Now all you have to do is beat yourself
and sell the car you won. <br><br>Headlights and Turn
Signals:<br>While racing, hold L1 and press LEFT or RIGHT for the
blinker. Hold L1 and press UP for the headlights. Hold L1
and press DOWN to turn on your hazard lights.
<br><br>Heavy Car:<br>Before the loading screen appears to load
your next race, press START to load the game and
immediatly after, press and hold LEFT + SQUARE + CIRCLE.
Continue to hold the buttons until the loading screen
disapears. You will now be able to knock over other cars
easily when bumping into them. <br><br>Drunk
Mode:<br>Pick a car and start a race. Immediately press Up + L2
+ R1 and hold through the loading screen. The
screen will now be blurred as if you were drunk.
<br><br> I couldn't get some of these to work,, but a lot
of other people have so,,, And if you have any other
cheats or hints that you would like to give,, just post

I love Gran Turismo 2. It is by far one of the
best playstation games.(not including need for speed).
You should see my cars, i have a lot of racing cars,
like a Mugen NSX GT(J). It spits out 608 HP.it is
cool.i won it by winning first in a special event. i
also have a '69 corvette 427 stingray with a racing
mod on it.It isn't the best but it is a good
collector:o)-
I love Gran Turismo 2. It is by far one of the

you will find the complete lists of cheats for Need
