Hello Donors, Members and well wishers,

Yes!!! We have completed yet one more batch - 9th Batch of vocational
training and are happy to share with you that all the 20 students
have been placed . Out of the 17 students from Retail Stream , 8
students have been placed with Fabmall and 7 in Food World, 2 are
joining Café Coffee Day. All the 3 from tailoring stream have been
placed in three different garment units.

The students arranged a `thanks giving' on the last day - some of the
members of the faculty had graced the day and spent time with the
students and spoke to them. The students were on a `HIGH' and each
one of them very nicely conveyed their thanks and gratitude
to `UNNATI' for trying to shape their lives.

One important feature of this batch is the involvement of `Levis
Strauss & Co'. Ofcourse the Company has been offering support and
financial assistance to `UNNATI' but this time they came forward to
send their staff to speak to the students on various subjects. The
Company's C.E.O while talking to the students found that the
students had different dreams about their careers and exorted them to
give shape to their dreams by doing a project on their chosen
field. He divided them into homogenous groups and announced prizes
for the 3 best presentations. . Thus was born projects on `Mall',
Boutique', `Bike Factory', `Garment Unit' and`Ashram'. The students
presented their respective projects in front of 2 Senior Officials
of `Levis' and the projects were well received and appreciated by the
Officials of `Levis'.

We have begun our preparations for starting the next batch and we
already have a few applications on hand but we require many more
applications so that we can select enough number for the ensuing
batch,. We appeal to all of you to identify and send candidates in
large numbers so that we can select sufficient candidates . It has
always been our desire to improve our programme and we shall be glad
to receive your feedback (expecially from the faculty) on how we can
effect improvements in the curriculam, input etc.


We take this opportunity to thank the Donors who have supported us
through thick and thin, the members who have always been extending
their helping hand and the members of the faculty without whose
support and help our project will not be a success. Last but not the
least, our well wishers in large number who have always been with us
to encourage our activities. We look forward to your continued
support in future as well.
