Sorry for the much much delayed response.
I don't know about the amethyst plant, but I will try and get the copper vessel and keep it in our mandir.

I agree that a couple sleeping in southeast area of
the house is not a vastu friendly idea but it will
definitely be better than sleeping in northeast area
for the couple trying to conceive.

You can can keep a amethyst plant in southeast of the
house to overcome the vastu fault created by sleeping
there.

Keep gangajal in a copper vessel in your mandir in
northeast area. If you dont have gangajal then keep
water in a copper vessel and change it daily.

I am sure this should solve all the three problems you
mentioned.
1. Problems in conceiving
2. My husband not happy in his job
3. My confidence level is low.

I have followed vastu for a long time now and do whatever I can do go by vastu. Keep the home clean and sprakling most of the times, except on certain weekends...
