MODFLOW is a widely used software for groundwater flow modeling purpose.

Required data for MODFLOW:

- base map of study area
- location of Hydrograph Stations(water level monitoring tube well) and its
filters' elevation(mamsl)
- water level data for last 5/10 years
- location of abstraction tube Wells and its its filters' elevation(mamsl) 
- daily discharge of tube wells
- rainfall data for last 5/10 yr
- Recharge(calculated ) data
-evapotranspiration data
-River stage data for last 5/10 years (If river boundary condition employed) &
river Cross   section
-Aquifer parameters (hydraulic conductivity, porosity(effective &
Total),specific storage(for confined aquifer), Specific yield (for unconfined
aquifer )
etc....

hello

i m fresher for using modflow. can anyone tell me how can i start in modflow.
what are the data requirements, what type of data is necessary for the modflow
and for what purpose we are using modflow.
