kareeb jab aap Mumbai aaye, un dino aapka film sangeet ke saath ek
gehra taallukh banaa, uske baare mein zaraa sunnewaalon ko bataaiyega.
SS: zaroor zaroor! 1960 mein main yahaan aa gaya. aur koi aisa yeh
naheen tha ki yahaan kya karoonga. ghar chhoDke chale aaye, anjaan
jagah, anjaan log, ek do logon ko jaanta tha, ek Vasant Desai-ji ko,
aur woh jo Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje mein maine bajaaya tha,
uska 'record' bhi nikal chukaa tha. to logon ko yeh maaloom tha ki
koi saaz ismein bajaa tha lekin woh shakhs nazar naheen aaya. to jab
pataa chalaa ki main yahaan rehne lagaa hoon, to mujhe phir dheere
