Yes, even I managed to listen to few of them. many retired announcers
were invited throughout the day, along with Golden Melodies and Best
of Vividh Bharati segments at periodic intervals comprising of rare
old songs and voice clippings.
And above all, Ameen Sayani presented Star Jaimala at 11:10 pm on
DTH. It was mentioned that the first Vishesh Jaimala was presented by
Nargis in the year 1965 to encourage the soldiers during the '65 war.
It was a live prog aired from Delhi. The Nargis Jaimala that VB airs
was recorded when Nargis came to the VB studio for the 2nd time.
