KS: Pyare-ji, sangeetkaaron ki agar ham baat karen to kis sangeetkaar
se aap sabse zyaada mutaasir rahe?

PL: sangeetkaar agar kahen to Shankar Jaikishan, jinke saath hamne
kabhi kaam kiya hi naheen.

KS: kabhi naheen?

PL: kabhi bhi naheen kaam kiya. matlab, kabhi dekhaa hi naheen unko
kaam karte huye, kabhi naheen. Jaikishan-ji aaye the hamaari shaadi
mein, to shaadi mein aaye to mujhe ek bahut achchha chaandi
ka 'violin' diya, maine sambhaal ke rakha huya hai. aur ham jab gaye
the unki shaadi mein to unhone hamaari 'wife' ko kahaa tha, English

andar, woh ek uchhaal laayi hai, ki unhone 'modern music' ko bhi
liya, lekin 'Indianized' karke. yeh bahut baDi baat hai. "yahoo"
unhone laaya, aur achchhe achchhe 'words' laaye. woh kya kahaa tha,
Shankar-ji ne Khud hi kahaa tha, Shailendra-ji ka gaana tha, kya tha
woh,.... lekin 'music' ke andar bhi Shankar-ji apne hisaab se 'music'

PL: bilkul, bahut. hamne jitne sukshm 'instrument' hai, maine bataaya
