In the 'Five Orange Pips', Holmes says that he had been beaten four times, once by a woman and three times by men. The woman is, of course, Irene Adler. Who were the three men? Still puzzling my mind on this.
A message to all Sherlockians from an environment campaigner: "Save the earth, 'cos if we don't, there won't be anyone of us left to admire and care for the legacy of Holmes." And again quoting the master whose ideas are always universal, "When man tries to rise above nature, he is liable to fall below it." Seriously, we need to do something about it.

I believe that the canon is worth an encyclopedia of logic and rational thinking. We would never run out of it. Nevertheless, we are free to visualise Holmes the way we like to. There must not be any conflict of ideas within the group. Long live Sherlock Holmes!
Why can't we make this group to discuss more of original literature than these momentous contemporary adaptations? Wouldn't that be a true homage to Sherlock Holmes and its creator and the whole universe of the genius we all love to talk about ? Please reply.
